Janka Végvári from Mosonmagyaróvár beat 15 other finalists to be crowned Miss World Hungary 2025 in a spectacular show on Sunday, June 22 in Budapest. The 17-year-old high school student succeeds last year's winner Andrea Katzenbach and is expected to represent Hungary at the 73rd Miss World. Eszter Emőke Veress and Dorka Kata Csapó were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This moment feels like a dream, and I know it would not have been possible without the incredible support I received along the way," said the new Miss World Hungary. She also shared: "Wearing this crown is not just a title, it is a responsibility I carry with pride. Boglárka Hacsis bested 15 other competitors to win Magyarország Szépe 2023 (Miss World Hungary 2023) in a national competition held on Sunday, June 11 at Symbol Budapest. The 23-year-old beauty from Miskolc succeeds Lili Tótpet and will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2023) in India later this year. Orsolya Szabó and Zafír Bella Novák were respectively named the first and second runners-up while Patrícia Koncz and Lilla Csasztvan rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
