Olivia Freeman was crowned Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2025 on Sunday, August 24 at Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium in Paraquita Bay. The 22-year-old finance specialist will represent the British Virgin Islands at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Kimberly Herbert was named first runner-up while the rest of the contestants were Rebeka Josil and Rhonda Victor. The new Miss Universe British Virgin Islands also bagged the Miss Photogenic, Miss Popularity, Best Swimwear, Best Evening Gown, and Best Intellect awards. Olivia succeeded last year's winner Deyounce Lowenfield who competed in Miss Universe 2024 last November in Mexico. Ashellica Fahie was crowned Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2023 in a glittering coronation show held on Sunday, August 20 at Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium in Tortola. The 28-year-old legal manager and business owner will now represent the British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. She succeeds last year's winner Lia Claxton. Deyounce Lowenfield, 19, and Liliana Rhymer, 23, were the rest of the three finalists who competed for the coveted national title. According to her bio for the pageant, the new Miss Universe British Virgin Islands' favorite color is pink and the person she admires most is her father. Her interests include financial literacy and mental health awareness. The British Virgin Islands, a British overseas territory in the Caribbean, has yet to achieve its first placement at the Miss Universe pageant. Lia Claxton was officially crowned Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2022 in a special coronation ceremony held on Saturday, October 15 Allamanda Estate Villa, Beef Island. The 18-year-old model and athlete from Tortola received the crown from her predecessor Xaria Penn. She enjoys playing piano, modeling, and track and field as her hobbies and one day she would like to travel the world comfortably and live a healthy lifestyle. Prior to being appointed as the new titleholder, Lia was one of the Top 3 finalists during last year's pageant. She will now prepare to represent the British overseas territory at the 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans, Louisiana, the USA this January. Xaria Penn was named Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2021 in a national competition held on Saturday, September 25. The 18-year-old and six-feet tall beauty from Tortola succeeds Bria Smith and will represent the British overseas territory at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant to be held in Eilat, Israel this December.
