Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2023 is Ashellica Fahie


Ashellica Fahie was crowned Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2023 in a glittering coronation show held on Sunday, August 20 at Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium in Tortola.

The 28-year-old legal manager and business owner will now represent the British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. She succeeds last year's winner Lia Claxton.

Deyounce Lowenfield, 19, and Liliana Rhymer, 23, were the rest of the three finalists who competed for the coveted national title.

According to her bio for the pageant, the new Miss Universe British Virgin Islands' favorite color is pink and the person she admires most is her father. Her interests include financial literacy and mental health awareness.

The British Virgin Islands, a British overseas territory in the Caribbean, has yet to achieve its first placement at the Miss Universe pageant.
