Miss Philippines Earth 2024 is Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur

Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon. The 24-year-old special needs education graduate bested 28 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2024 later this year. Feliz Clareianne Thea Recentes of Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte bagged the Miss Philippines Air 2024 title while Samantha Dana Bug-os of Baco, Oriental Mindoro, Kia Labiano of Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Ira Patricia Malaluan of Batangas City were Miss Philippines Water, Fire and Eco Tourism 2024, respectively. After weeks of activities, 29 eco beauties from across the Philippines will compete tonight for the coveted title of Miss Philippines Earth 2024. Hosted by James Deakin and former Miss Earth Karla Henry, the much-awaited grand coronation night will be held in Talakag, Bukidnon. This year's event which is themed "Heritage" will be the 24th edition of the annual Miss Philippines Earth pageant. Live streaming of the final show will be available on its official YouTube and Facebook page from 8 p.m. local time. The winner of tonight's competition will be crowned by last year's winner Yllana Marie Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna, and will represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2024. Albertina Haimbala to represent Namibia at Miss Earth 2024

The Miss Namibia Organization (MNO) has officially announced Albertina Haimbala as Namibia's representative for Miss Earth 2024 later this year. Albertina, a 24-year-old marketing management graduate, was the first runner-up at Miss Namibia 2023. She was previously designated to participate in the 72nd Miss World. According to the MNO, the Miss World organization now strictly enforces its standing rule that only the national winner can participate in the Miss World competition. The rule also stipulates that the first runner-up can only participate when the national winner is unable to and/or incapacitated. CEO Umbi Karuaihe-Upi said: "There are rules and requirements that we have no control over, including the postponement of international beauty pageants. Hence, as license franchise holders, we must abide by them." The winners of the annual Miss Namibia pageant are usually sent to Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Earth. Hosted by former Miss Earth Karla Henry and Mister Continental International Tourism 2018 Erik Karcher, the event showcased the incredible talents of this year's contestants. Kristel Anne Codas of Iligan City bagged the gold medal while the beauties from Baungon, Bukidnon, Chaoncy Rich Azucena, and Davao City, Reca Mae Abueva were awarded the silver and bronze, respectively. Miss Earth 2023 Drita Ziri arrives in the Philippines

Reigning Miss Earth Drita Ziri touched down in the Philippines on Thursday, May 2 for her first official visit since winning Miss Earth 2023 last December in Vietnam. The Albanian beauty will be joined by her elemental court Cora Bliault from Thailand, Do Thi Lan Anh from Vietnam, and Yllana Marie Aduana of the Philippines. According to the Miss Earth organization, they will be in the Philippines until May 12 to take part in the promotion of heritage and eco-tourism of the country. The queens will have a media conference on May 7 at Brittany Hotel in Villar City, Cavite, and will be gracing the Miss Philippines Earth 2024 grand coronation on May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon. The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear Competition was held on Thursday, April 25 in Borongan City, the capital of the province of Eastern Samar. Sam Samara of Makati City bagged the gold medal while the representatives of Iligan City, Kristel Codas, and Matanao, Davao Del Sur, Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche were awarded silver and bronze, respectively. Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2024 is Bianca Nicole Caraballo

Bianca Nicole Caraballo was crowned Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2024 in a national competition held on Thursday, February 1 at the Teatro Francisco Arriví in San Juan. The 22-year-old beauty, representing Mayagüez, bested 25 other contestants to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss Earth 2023 Top 12 finalist Victoria Arocho . Natalia Aldarondo De La Cruz of Ponce, Nathàlie Cristina Santa Cruz Bacardí of Culebra, and Isadora Torres Maldonado of Toa Baja were awarded the elemental titles of Miss Earth Puerto Rico - Air, Water and Fire 2024, respectively. Former Miss Earth Katherine Espin has officially auditioned for CNB Ecuador 2024 (Miss Universe Ecuador 2024). The 31-year-old is a lawyer, mother, and currently the president of the Miss Earth Ecuador organization. Following Olga Alava who clinched Ecuador's first Miss Earth title in 2011, Katherine won Miss Earth 2016 among 83 contestants at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines. Previously held by Maria del Carmen de Aguayo, this year's Miss Universe Ecuador franchise has been acquired by Tahiz Panus of the Concurso Nacional de Belleza (CNB Ecuador) organization.
