Reinas del Paraguay 2023: Meet the contestants

This year's Reinas del Paraguay competition is ready to crown the next set of women who will represent Paraguay at the Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth pageants. Ten contestants have been selected to compete for the national titles currently held by Leah Ashmore (Miss Universe Paraguay), Dahiana Gatzke (Miss World Paraguay), Jazmín de la Sierra (Miss International Paraguay), and Macarena Tomas (Miss Earth Paraguay). Miss Pakistan World 2023 is Misbah Arshad

Misbah Arshad was proclaimed Miss Pakistan World 2023 in a crowning ceremony held on Wednesday, May 31 at the Grand Palm Hotel in Lahore. The 25-year-old Pakistani beauty lives in Munich, Germany with her family and is pursuing her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Hagen. She succeeds last year's titleholder Anniqa Jamal Iqbal and will represent Pakistan at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year.  Alongside the new Miss Pakistan World, the rest of the winners this year were also awarded titles in different categories — Miss for under 29 years of age, Ms. for over 30, and Mrs. for married women. Miss Earth New Zealand 2023 is Caitlyn Dulcie from Auckland

Caitlyn Dulcie was crowned Miss Earth New Zealand 2023 on Saturday, May 27 at Te Pou Theatre in Henderson, Auckland. The 23-year-old model, dancer, and musician also bagged the Best In Judge’s Interview and Best in Talent special awards.  Her court of elemental queens consists of Mercedes Budd, Lelaine Dela Cruz, Alyssa Roberts, and Moya van Kooten. They were named Miss Earth Air, Water, Fire, and Land, respectively. Simran Madan, last year's winner who went on to compete in the Philippines last November, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Caitlyn will now prepare to represent her island country at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. New Zealand has yet to win the Miss Earth title since joining the pageant for the first time in 2001. Its highest placement was achieved in 2019 when Tashan Kapene made it to the Top 10 among 85 competitors. Miss Earth Ireland 2023 is Layla Doherty

Inishowen's Layla Doherty bested 20 other competitors from all over the country to win the Miss Earth Ireland 2023 pageant on Saturday, May 27 in Galway. The 21-year-old freelance model and Maple Store Ballyliffin employee will now prepare to represent Ireland at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year. Her court of runners-up includes Abigail Walsh, Leah Sheehan, and Kevea Gallagher. They were awarded the titles Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, and Miss Earth Fire Ireland 2023, respectively. Last year's winner who placed in the Top 20 at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines last November, Alannah Larkin, relinquished her crown at the end of the event. Miss Nepal 2023: Meet the winners of Miss Nepal World, Earth and International titles

The Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2023 final competition was held on Saturday, May 27 at the Godawari Convention Hall in Lalitpur. Contestant number 17   Srichchha Pradhan, a Bennington College graduate with a degree in environmental studies, was proclaimed Miss Nepal World 2023. Raina Majgaiya, a commercial pilot, clinched the title Miss Nepal Earth 2023 while Prasiddhy Shah, also an environmental studies graduate, was named Miss Nepal International 2023. They are expected to represent Nepal at Miss World 2024, Miss Earth 2023 (Vietnam), and Miss International 2023 (Japan), respectively. A total of 24 contestants from around the country were selected to take part in the 27th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant. Last year's titleholders Priyanka Rani Joshi, Sareesha Shrestha, and Nancy Khadka crowned their respective successors at the end of the event. Miss Brasil Terra 2023 is Morgana Carlos of Sertão Central

Sertão Central representative Morgana Carlos was crowned Miss Brasil Terra 2023 (Miss Earth Brazil 2023) on May 1 at the World Trade Center Teater, Sheraton Hotel in São Paulo. The 27-year-old dentist from Ceará bested 23 other competitors to win the national title. She succeeds Jéssica Pedroso, last year's winner who placed in the Top 12 at Miss Earth 2022. Jennifer Jaworski (Paraná), Larissa Pissinatto (Mato Grosso), and Bianca Becker (Distrito Federal) were named the elemental queens while Gabriella Serafim (Cerrado Goiano) rounded out the Top 5 finalists. No stranger to pageantry, Morgana participated in Miss Brasil Be Emotion 2016 (Miss Universe Brazil) while representing her home state and placed in the Top 5. She will now prepare for Miss Earth 2023 to be held in Vietnam later this year. Brazil won the Miss Earth crown twice with Priscilla Meirelles in 2004 and Larissa Ramos in 2009. Miss Earth Colombia 2023 is Luz Adriana López of Caquetá

Miss Earth Caquetá, Luz Adriana López Ayala, edged out 10 other contestants to be crowned Miss Earth Colombia 2023 on Saturday, April 29 at Centro de Convenciones Las Camelias in Montenegro, Quindío. The 26-year-old environmental engineer representing the Serranía de Chiribiquete will now prepare for the Miss Earth 2023 pageant to be held in Vietnam later this year. Marelis Salas Julio of Bolivar placed second and was named Miss Earth Air and Miss Intercontinental Colombia 2023. She will be participating in Miss Intercontinental 2023. The third placer, Stephany Silva of Cauca, was announced as Miss Earth Water and Miss Eco Colombia 2023. She will proceed to Miss Eco International 2023. Rounding out the Top 4 finalists was Juliana Aristizábal of Quindío. She was awarded the title Miss Earth Water and Miss Environment Colombia 2023 and is expected to compete in Miss Environment International 2023. Barbara Roymans bested 14 other finalists to be crowned Miss Exclusive 2023 (Miss Earth Belgium 2023) during Saturday's live telecast on Ment TV. The 25-year-old from Ronse who works as a project assistant for the Belgian railways will represent Belgium at Miss Earth 2023 which is expected to be held in Vietnam later this year. Jolien Pede, Tessa Denys, and Sarah-Maria Lux rounded out the Top 4 and were awarded the elemental titles of Miss Exclusive Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. The rest of the Top 8 finalists were Laurine Remans, Shana De Maeyer, Lisa Mele Perez, and Yari Bastiaens. Reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi of Korea and  Miss International Jasmin Selberg of Germany graced the glittering show as special guests. Miss Philippines Earth 2023 is Yllana Marie Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna

Yllana Marie Aduana bested 28 other competitors to win the Miss Philippines Earth 2023 grand final competition held on Saturday, April 29 at Toledo City Sports Center in Toledo, Cebu. The 24-year-old licensed medical laboratory scientist representing Siniloan, Laguna succeeded last year's winner Jenny Ramp and will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam on a date yet to be announced. Rounding out the Top 5 were Athena Auxillo of Toledo City, Sha'uri Livori of Fil-Com Melbourne, Australia, Jemimah Joy Zabala of Puerto Princesa City, and Kerri Reilly of Mangatarem, Pangasinan. They were awarded Miss Philippines Air, Water, Fire, and Ecotourism titles, respectively. The much-awaited Miss Philippines Earth 2023 grand final and coronation is taking place tonight at the Toledo City Sports Center in Toledo, Cebu. This is the first time for the beautiful and joyful city in the province of Cebu to host the national pageant. Twenty-nine contestants from around the country will compete for the national title and the chance to represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. Filipino actor and TV host Robi Domingo will serve as the host of the evening. Joining him are two former Miss Earth winners from the Philippines Karla Henry and Jamie Herrell. A distinguished panel of judges consisting of concert producer and talent manager Mario Colmenares, fashion designer Cary Santiago, international performer Maybelle Padillo, Hana Shampoo's Caloy Bacani, Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel, Broadway producer and film director Jhett Tolentino, and Miss Earth executive Lorraine Schuck will choose the winner.
