Reigning Miss Earth from Belize, Destiny Wagner, made her New York Fashion Week runway debut during the weekend after getting invited by VIP Pageantry. The 25-year-old beauty queen met with her fans on the streets of the "Big Apple" and successfully completed three shows for some brands like BeMade, Kirsten Regalado, and Vizcaya Swimwear. New York Fashion Week is a semi-annual series of events when international fashion collections are shown to buyers, the press, and the general public. It is one of four major fashion weeks in the world, collectively known as the "Big 4", along with those in Paris, London, and Milan. Miss Philippines Earth 2022 pageant applications now open, takes on "ME Loves Fauna" theme

Miss Philippines Earth has officially announced its nationwide search for the next wave of Filipinas who will serve as ambassadors to environmental protection campaigns in the Philippines. For its 22nd edition, the pageant takes on the theme “ME Loves Fauna” to emphasize the importance of caring for animal life and promote awareness of how they are essential members of the environment. After two virtual editions, the organization now plans to hold a live coronation event with a limited number of contestants, production staff, and audience, around July. Last year's winner, Naelah Alshorbaji, will relinquish her reign at the end of the event. The Filipino-Syrian beauty earned a place in the Top 8 during the international Miss Earth 2021 held virtually last November. Reigning Miss Earth Destiny Wagner named as Sustainable Tourism Ambassador in Belize

Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner has been named as Sustainable Tourism Ambassador by the Belize Tourism Board (BTB), the governing body of Belize’s Tourism Industry that focuses on progressive and sustainable developments. The beauty queen will work alongside BTB in promoting the ecotourism of her country and protecting its natural resources. "Thank you Ministry of Tourism for making this possible and I look forward to working closely with you throughout the year to highlight and amplify the voices of nonprofits who continuously fight for a better Belize and a better planet," Destiny shared on her social media page. "With that being said I would like to thank Apamo Belize for their continuous efforts in conservation and I’m very happy to have witnessed and assisted with handing over a check of $75,000 to support their cause on behalf of BTB," she added. Miss Earth Carolina, Paulina Avilés, was crowned Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 in a national competition held on Sunday, January 30 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de San Sebastián. The 20-year-old architecture student at the University of Puerto Rico - Río Piedras bested 20 other contestants to win her beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner, Cristina Mariel, and will now prepare to represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant later this year. Miss Earth Coamo, Natalia Andrea, Miss Earth Cayey, Annais Rojas, and Miss Earth Arecibo, Valeria Classen, completed the Top 4 finalists / elemental court. The Vietnamese beauty has always been a fan of TED Talk for its inspirational speeches that give hope and motivation to many young people in fulfilling their dreams. "The Mountain - Dare to Climb" was the theme of the event, and for her, the invitation to speak along with some influential individuals felt like conquering another mountain, a dream come true. Following her trip to the United States of America as a special guest at Miss Earth USA, the reigning Miss Earth Destiny Wagner has been announced to visit Puerto Rico this January 30. The Belizean beauty was invited to grace the Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 finale and coronation in the Caribbean island's capital city of San Juan. She is a model, interior designer, actor, and host. The 2022 Miss Earth USA title was awarded to Natalia Salmon, an Asset Services Intern. Natalia Salmon, representing Pennsylvania, was crowned Miss Earth USA 2022 in a national final held on Saturday, January 8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The 22-year-old architecture and real estate development graduate from the University of Maryland College Park bested 50 other beauties to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss Earth Air 2021, Marisa Butler. District of Columbia's Faith Porter was named Miss Earth USA Air while Connecticut's Brielle Simmons, North Carolina's Hannah Welborn-Lewis, and Oklahoma's Emma Loney clinched the titles Miss Earth USA Water, Miss Earth USA Fire, and Miss Earth USA Eco, respectively. Joining her are former Miss Earth winners Katherine Espín (Miss Earth 2016) from Ecuador, Nellys Pimentel (Miss Earth 2019) from Puerto Rico, and Lindsey Coffey (Miss Earth 2020) from the United States. Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner has finally returned to Belize on Friday, December 3 after winning the first-ever major international beauty title for her country two weeks ago. The 25-year-old was warmly welcomed at the Philip Goldson International Airport by Hon. Andre Perez, Minister of Blue Economy & Civil Aviation, and his CEO Kennedy Carrillo. Mayor Bernard Wagner, who presented her with the keys to the city, also joined the welcoming ceremony with the councilors of the Belize City Council, staff of the Belize Tourism Board, and of course, the Wagner family. This weekend, a series of motorcades in her honor will take place in Belize City, up north in Orange Walk, and down south in her hometown, Punta Gorda. The 25-year-old entrepreneur from Punta Gorda, Toledo, made history for becoming the first-ever woman from her country to win the Miss Earth pageant and the first Belizean to win a major international beauty title.
