Reigning Miss Earth Destiny Wagner named as Sustainable Tourism Ambassador in Belize

Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner has been named as Sustainable Tourism Ambassador by the Belize Tourism Board (BTB), the governing body of Belize’s Tourism Industry that focuses on progressive and sustainable developments.

The beauty queen will work alongside BTB in promoting the ecotourism of her country and protecting its natural resources.

"Thank you Ministry of Tourism for making this possible and I look forward to working closely with you throughout the year to highlight and amplify the voices of nonprofits who continuously fight for a better Belize and a better planet," Destiny shared on her social media page.

"With that being said I would like to thank Apamo Belize for their continuous efforts in conservation and I’m very happy to have witnessed and assisted with handing over a check of $75,000 to support their cause on behalf of BTB," she added.


After being crowned Miss Earth 2021 last November, the reigning queen has traveled to Orlando, Florida for Miss Earth USA 2022 and recently graced the Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 final.

Fresh from Puerto Rico, the 25-year-old met with Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Ambassador David K.C. Chien, and Senate Vice President of Belize, Hon. Collet Montejo, during the Chinese Lunar New Year Festival, to exchange viewpoints on multiple issues regarding the interaction between Belize and Taiwan.


Destiny is scheduled to return to the US this month to make an appearance and walk in the VIP's New York Fashion Week at Marriott Marquis Time Square in Broadway, New York. Visit www.vippageantry.com to get your tickets.

Miss Nepal 2023: Meet the winners of Miss Nepal World, Earth and International titles

The Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2023 final competition was held on Saturday, May 27 at the Godawari Convention Hall in Lalitpur. Contestant number 17   Srichchha Pradhan, a Bennington College graduate with a degree in environmental studies, was proclaimed Miss Nepal World 2023. Raina Majgaiya, a commercial pilot, clinched the title Miss Nepal Earth 2023 while Prasiddhy Shah, also an environmental studies graduate, was named Miss Nepal International 2023. They are expected to represent Nepal at Miss World 2024, Miss Earth 2023 (Vietnam), and Miss International 2023 (Japan), respectively. A total of 24 contestants from around the country were selected to take part in the 27th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant. Endi Demneri was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, June 1 at Pallati i Kongreseve (Palace of Congresses) in Tirana. Misbah Arshad was proclaimed Miss Pakistan World 2023 in a crowning ceremony held on Wednesday, May 31 at the Grand Palm Hotel in Lahore. The 25-year-old Pakistani beauty lives in Munich, Germany with her family and is pursuing her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Hagen. Cumberland's Mary Malloy was crowned Miss Rhode Island USA 2023 on Sunday, May 28 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The VETS) in Providence.
