Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 is Paulina Avilés


Miss Earth Carolina, Paulina Avilés, was crowned Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2022 in a national competition held on Sunday, January 30 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de San Sebastián.

The 20-year-old architecture student at the University of Puerto Rico - Río Piedras bested 20 other contestants to win her beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner, Cristina Mariel, and will now prepare to represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant later this year.

Miss Earth Coamo, Natalia Andrea, Miss Earth Cayey, Annais Rojas, and Miss Earth Arecibo, Valeria Classen, completed the Top 4 finalists / elemental court.

"Grateful for all the love and support I have received, thank you and I hope you are ready for what is to come," the new Miss Earth Puerto Rico shared on social media.

Reigning Miss Earth from Belize, Destiny Wagner, and former Miss Earth Nellys Pimental of Puerto Rico were the special guests at the event.

Miss USA 2023: Meet the contestants

Mr Lebanon 2023 is Seif Al Walid Harb

Seif Al Walid Harb was proclaimed Mr Lebanon 2023 during the broadcast of the national competition on Sunday, October 9 on MTV Lebanon. The 23-year-old fitness trainer beat 17 other young men from various Lebanese regions to win the title. He succeeds last year's winner Hady Fakhereldine and is now expected to represent his country at the Mr World pageant. Ahmad Arzouni was announced as the first runner-up while Mohammad Abyad, Anwar Shibli, and Fares Nasereldine finished as second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 6 and awarded Mr Personality was Jeremy Melkonian, an inspirational competitor who lost a leg in a traffic accident a few years ago. Mostafa Dabbous was named Mr Photogenic. Produced by MTV Lebanon, this year's event was organized by Nidal Bcherawi, owner of Lebanon-based Nidal's Model Agency. Mister International 2023 is Kim Goodburn of Thailand

Kim Thitisan Goodburn bested 35 other competitors to win Mister International 2023 on Sunday, September 17 at the Crystal Design Center Ballroom (CDC) in Bangkok, Thailand. The 24-year-old Thai-British model and actor from Thailand also bagged the Best in National Costume award. He succeeds last year's winner Manu Franco from the Dominican Republic. William Badell of Venezuela and Edward Taiye Ogunniya of Brazil were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Lucas Schlachter of France and Shashwat Dwivedi of India rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The rest of the Top 10 finalists were the contestants from Colombia, Daniel Alejandro Garcia Molina, Peru, Joel Farach Marquina, Philippines, Jefferson Bunny, Singapore, Joshua Hee, and Spain, Borxa Ramo Ruiz. Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023: Meet the contestants

Following rounds of auditions across Zimbabwe, the Top 25 contestants vying for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 have been officially announced. This year's pageant will be the first edition of Miss Universe Zimbabwe under the new national director Tendai Hunda, a former Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss Intercontinental 2015 fourth runner-up. The next Miss Universe Zimbabwe, to be crowned on September 16, will represent the southern African country at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 is Brooke Bruk-Jackson

Brooke Bruk-Jackson edged out 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 on Saturday, September 16 at Harare Hippodrome. The 21-year-old model will now prepare to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this December. It will be her country's first participation in over two decades. Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "My heart is full of joy and gratitude. Thank you to each and every one of you for your kind messages and support," shared the new Miss Universe Zimbabwe. "I have gained this crown for our beautiful country, to love and to serve our people, to represent Zimbabwe internationally, and to show the world the uniqueness of Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans." Miss Suomi 2023: Meet the Top 10 finalists

From the Top 20 semifinalists, only 10 beauties have been announced to continue to the final of Miss Suomi 2023 (Miss Universe Finland 2023) next month. The announcement led by Miss Suomi national director Sunneva Sjögren was held on Tuesday, August 15 at Valo Hotel in Helsinki. This year's 90-minute final competition, to be hosted by Constantinos "Gogi" Mavromichalis and Heidi Willman, will take place on September 9 at Aino Areena in Järvenpää. Miss Universe Switzerland 2023 is Lorena Santen

Lorena Santen was crowned Miss Universe Switzerland 2023 in a national competition on Saturday, September 23 at the Hilton Hotel in Geneva. The 26-year-old economics graduate from Aargau beat 14 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner Alia Guindi and will soon represent her country at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. Marisa Varunee Kappenthuler and Emilie Bovier were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while  Jessica Alice Schmid and Dalia Del Valle Kramer rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
