Mis Eco Teen 2022 is Cherisha Chanda from India

India's Cherisha Chanda was crowned Miss Eco Teen 2022 on Sunday, December 11 at the Concorde Moreen Beach Resort & Spa in Marsa Alam, Egypt. The 17-year-old student who hails from Gurugram succeeded last year's titleholder from Vietnam, Bella Vu Huyen Dieu. She is the first Indian representative to win the beauty title. Francesca Beatriz McLelland was named the first princess while Mia Alvillar of the USA, Arianna Victoria of Spain, and Malak Badr of England were the first second, third and fourth princesses, respectively. This year's event was the fourth edition of the Egypt-based teen international pageant dedicated to environmental causes. The first two winners were Maria Eduarda Valotto of Brazil and Roberta Angela Tamondong of the Philippines. Miss World Philippines 2022 is Gwendolyne Fourniol of Negros Occidental

Gwendolyne Fourniol, representative of Negros Occidental, bested 35 other contestants to win the Miss World Philippines 2022 title at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Sunday, June 5. The 21-year-old Filipino-French beauty pursued a degree in economics from Oxford Brookes University in London. She is an advocate for education and has been working with a non-profit organization that sends underprivileged kids to school. "As an advocate of education, I do agree that during the pandemic we have suffered the most, but the children who have a lack of access to education have suffered the greatest," she answered during the question and answer portion.  She added, "And working hand in hand with ERDA Foundation who empowered the marginalized Filipino, I believe by uniting benefactors and encouraging our children and allowing them to go back to school, especially during this pandemic will make this world a better place because education is the greatest weapon against povert

Vietnam's Vu Huyen Dieu wins Miss Eco Teen International 2021

Vu Huyen Dieu, the representative of Vietnam, was crowned Miss Eco Teen International 2021 at Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The 13-year-old beauty from Ho Chi Minh City succeeds Miss Eco Teen 2020 Roberta Tamondong of the Philippines. She is the youngest winner of the Egypt-based competition that promotes environmental causes for teenagers. Philippines' Tatyana Austria was named first runner-up while USA's Lia Macias placed second runner-up. The contestants from Belgium, Cameron lommelen, and Egypt, Habiba Osman were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. It was the first time Vietnam won the pageant and the country's second international crown this year after Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien's victory at Miss Grand International 2021 in Thailand.
