Mis Eco Teen 2022 is Cherisha Chanda from India


India's Cherisha Chanda was crowned Miss Eco Teen 2022 on Sunday, December 11 at the Concorde Moreen Beach Resort & Spa in Marsa Alam, Egypt.

The 17-year-old student who hails from Gurugram succeeded last year's titleholder from Vietnam, Bella Vu Huyen Dieu. She is the first Indian representative to win the beauty title.

Francesca Beatriz McLelland was named the first princess while Mia Alvillar of the USA, Arianna Victoria of Spain, and Malak Badr of England were the first second, third and fourth princesses, respectively.

This year's event was the fourth edition of the Egypt-based teen international pageant dedicated to environmental causes. The first two winners were Maria Eduarda Valotto of Brazil and Roberta Angela Tamondong of the Philippines.
