Miss Czech Republic 2022: Meet the newly crowned winners

Five national titles were at stake at the culmination of this year's Miss Czech Republic pageant that took place at Fórum Karlín in Prague on Saturday, May 7. Krystyna Pyszková, a 23-year-old model and student from Třince was named Miss Czech Republic 2022 / Miss World Czech Republic 2022. She succeeds Karolína Kopíncová and will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2022) later this year. Adéla Maděryčová (23), Kristýna Malířová (23), Mariana Bečková (23), and Karolína Syroťuková (20) clinched the titles Miss International Czech Republic, Miss Supranational Czech Republic, Miss Grand Czech Republic and Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic, respectively. They will be sent to the next edition of their respective international competitions namely Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Grand International, and Miss Intercontinental. Miss Las Palmas, Hirisley Jiménez, was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2022 in a national competition held on Monday, May 2 in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. The 20-year-old Cuban-Spanish beauty bested over 30 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds Alba Dunkerbeck and will now prepare to represent Spain at the 10th Miss Grand International (Miss Grand International 2022) competition in Indonesia this October. Oihana Torres of Euskadi was named first runner-up while Anakristina Rivero of Zaragoza finished second runner-up. Madrid's Kristina Caci and Granada's Natalia Quirós were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 27-year-old singer, model and actress representing Bangkok succeeds last year's appointed titleholder, Indy Johnson. Miss Grand Netherlands 2022 is Marit Beets

Marit Beets was crowned Miss Grand Netherlands 2022 in a national competition held at Leonardo Royal Hotel in Amsterdam last April 24. The 22-year-old human resource management student who hails from the fishing town of Volendam succeeds Nathalie Yasmin. "The news has now landed a bit, every morning when I enter the living room I see the beautiful crown then a kind of shiver always goes through my body, because it is really true," she shared on social media. "I will do everything I can to get the best out of it and the Netherlands as best as possible put it on the map," she added. Binibining Pilipinas 2022 Top 40 official candidates announced

The Top 40 official candidates for Binibining Pilipinas 2022 have been announced during the final screening held at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City on Friday, April 22. Reigning queens Binibining Pilipinas International Hannah Arnold, Miss Grand Philippines Samantha Panlilio, Miss Intercontinental Cindy Obenita, and Miss Globe Maureen Montagne were present at the event. This year's pageant, whose final date and venue are yet to be announced, will be the 58th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) national competition. The winners are expected to represent the Philippines in Miss International, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Globe, and Miss Grand International pageants. Andrea Radford, 27, was officially named Miss Grand Guatemala 2022 on Friday, April 8. She succeeds last year's titleholder, María José Sazo. The 5-foot-8-inches tall beauty is a professional model and lawyer. She has previously held the title Miss Supranational Guatemala and placed in the Top 25 at Miss Supranational 2019 in Poland. "This is the beginning of the path towards a dream, it will not be easy, but with the support and determination that defines us as Guatemalans, it will take us far and near our goal, and that goal will be to bring the first golden crown to our precious country," she shared on her social media. Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien kicked off her tour of South America with MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil this week in Peru. Fresh from Bangkok, the reigning MGI was warmly welcomed by Miss Peru organizers and a few activities were lined up for her such as joining a charity project for the less fortunate at Villa Mosha in Jicamarca, meet and greet with fans, and the crowning ceremony for the new Miss Grand Peru. Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien returns home

Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien has finally returned to her home country Vietnam a month after winning her international beauty title in Bangkok, Thailand. The Vietnamese beauty queen was warmly welcomed by her fellow countrymen during today's homecoming parade and ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City. She is expected to stay a few weeks in her country before flying back to Thailand where she is based during her reign. Tien bested over 50 other contestants to win her country's first Miss Grand International title in December of last year at the SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok. After some deliberation and close interview with some contestants, Miss Grand Indonesia national director Ivan Gunawan appointed Andina Julie as Miss Grand Indonesia 2022. The 21-year-old model and singer from South Sumatra will represent her country at the Miss Grand International 2022 competition later this year. Miss Grand Vietnam, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, bested over 50 other contestants to be crowned Miss Grand International 2021 on Saturday, December 4 at the SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 23-year-old hospitality management student succeeds Abena of the United States of America. She's the first-ever Vietnamese woman to win the Miss Grand International beauty title. Ecuador's Andrea Victoria Aguilera finished first runner-up while Brazil's Lorena Goncalves Rodrigues was named the second runner-up. Vivianie Diaz Arroyo of Puerto Rico and Jeane Van Dam of South Africa were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Indonesia to host Miss Grand International 2022

Indonesia has been officially announced as the host country of the 10th year anniversary of Miss Grand International. The announcement was made during the Miss Grand International 2021 final competition held at the SHOW DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand on December 4. Miss Grand Indonesia National Director Ivan Gunawan was welcomed onto the stage during the show so MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil can officially entrust the right to host next year's grand edition. The Miss Grand International 2022 final competition will take place on October 25, 2022, in the beautiful city of Jakarta, Indonesia.
