Miss Grand Philippines 2025 is Emma Mary Tiglao of Pampanga


Emma Mary Tiglao was crowned Miss Grand Philippines 2025 on Sunday, August 24 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The 30-year-old model, host, and news anchor from Pampanga bested 28 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner and reigning Miss Grand International Christine Juliane Opiaza.

Anita Rose Gomez of Zambales, Francesca Beatriz McLelland of Aklan, Michelle Arceo of Taguig, and Nikhisah Buenafe Cheveh of Quezon City were crowned Miss Asia Pacific International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Tourism World, and Face of Beauty Philippines 2025, respectively.

Margarette Briton of Bicol Region was named first runner-up while Beatriz Angela Ocampo of Rizal Province finished as the second runner-up.

The new Miss Grand Philippines is no stranger to pageantry, having joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2014 and 2019, and Miss World Philippines 2015. She also competed in Miss Intercontinental 2019 in Egypt and made the Top 20.

Emma will now prepare to represent the Philippines at the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming October.

"My heart is overflowing with gratitude. Every ounce of hard work, every sleepless night, every tear I've shed, every doubt I've battled, every training and every sacrifice I've made have all led me to this moment. And with all my heart, I can truly say it was worth it," she posted online.

She also wrote: "But more than the crown or title, I hope this moment reminds us that pageantry should never be about hate or tearing someone down. Words are powerful enough to inspire hope or cause pain."

"Let's choose to uplift, to encourage, and to celebrate each other's dreams. Because at the end of the day, we are all dreamers, each waiting for the moment destiny calls our name," she added.

81-year-old model Choi Soon-hwa joins Miss Universe Korea 2024

Choi Soon-hwa recently created a buzz in the pageant community when she appeared as the oldest contestant vying for Miss Universe Korea 2024. The 81-year-old senior model who walked her first runway in her 70s made history as she competes alongside more than 30 others in the upcoming national competition. If she wins this year's Miss Universe Korea, she will be the oldest Korean representative and contestant in the 73-year history of the Miss Universe pageant. Veena Praveenar Singh crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2025

Veena Praveenar Singh bested 76 other contestants to win Miss Universe Thailand 2025 in a spectacular show on Saturday, August 23 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 29-year-old beauty representing the province of Saraburi will now prepare to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Praewwanich Ruangthong of Krung Thep Maha Nakhon and Naruemol Phimphakdee of Phuket were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Tonight, 77 contestants representing various Thai provinces will compete for the coveted title of Miss Universe Thailand 2025. Hosted by TV presenter Matthew Deane and former Miss Universe Natalie Glebova, the highly anticipated national pageant will be held at MGI Hall in Bangkok. Xue Hou was crowned Miss Universe China 2024 during the national competition on Sunday, July 28 in Sanya Bay, Sanya City, Hainan Province. The 22-year-old model from Beijing will represent China at Miss Universe 2025 (74th Miss Universe) whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Miss Universe Australia 2025 is Lexie Brant from Brisbane

Queensland's Lexie Brant was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Australia 2025 on Friday, August 15 at Crown Perth in Burswood, Western Australia. The 21-year-old model from Brisbane bested 29 other contestants to win the national competition. She will represent Australia at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.
