Puteri Indonesia 2024 is Harashta Haifa Zahra of West Java

Harashta Haifa Zahra, representing Jawa Barat, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2024 last Friday, March 8 at the  Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center. The 20-year-old environmental engineering student bested more than 40 other contestants to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner  Farhana Nariswari. Rounding out the Top 4 finalists, Sophie Kirana Indriyagi, Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, and Melati Tedja were respectively crowned Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan 2024. The winners are now expected to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2024 in Japan, Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland, Miss Charm 2024 in Vietnam, and Miss Cosmo 2024, also in Vietnam. The Miss International 2024 competition has been announced to be held on November 12 in Tokyo, Japan. This year's pageant will mark the 62nd edition of the Japan-based international beauty pageant. Tokyo first hosted Miss International in 1968 after being held in the USA since its inauguration in 1960. The pageant has already been held in the Japanese capital numerous times including last year's remarkable show. As of today, a few national winners have been crowned so far and further details including the final venue have yet to be officially revealed. Miss International 2023 Andrea Rubio has returned home after winning the 61st Miss International competition on October 26 in Tokyo, Japan. The 24-year-old beauty who bagged her country's ninth Miss International crown received a special tribute and welcome in the variety program "Súper Sábado Sensacional" on Venevisión. Former Miss International winners from Venezuela, Edymar Martínez (Miss International 2015) and Mariem Velazco (Miss International 2018) also graced the show and fulfilled the tradition of handing out the Japanese doll to the new queen. Andrea Rubio of Venezuela bested 69 other contestants to win Miss International 2023 on Thursday, October 26 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The 24-year-old model from Caracas succeeds last year's winner Jasmin Selberg of Germany. She became the ninth Miss International winner from Venezuela. Colombia's Sofía Osío Luna was named first runner-up while the representatives from Peru, Camila Díaz Daneri, Philippines, Nicole Borromeo, and Bolivia, Vanessa Hayes Schutt were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Rounding out the Top 7 finalists were Mexico, Itzía Garcia, and Thailand, Supaporn Ritthipruek. Cassandra Yap bested 16 other finalists to win Miss International Malaysia 2023 on Sunday, October 1 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu. The 26-year-old fashion designer and model from Johor succeeds last year's titleholder Giselle Tay and will now prepare to represent Malaysia at Miss International 2023 in Tokyo, Japan on October 26. Kimberly Vung, Christina Lee and Aaliyah Wunsch were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively, while Hanah Musa, Lilyannie Christie, and Rindsay Rachelle rounded out the Top 8.
