Vietnam's first Miss International receives warm homecoming celebration


Vietnam's Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy has received a warm homecoming celebration after winning her country's first Miss International last week in Tokyo, Japan.

Fans flocked to the international airport in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, November 18 to welcome the 22-year-old beauty from Danang.

Thuy made history for Vietnam after beating 70 other contestants to win the 62nd Miss International on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall.

In a heartfelt post after her crowning, the beauty queen expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support she received throughout her journey to the international stage.

She attributes her victory not only to herself but to the beauty, kindness, and resilient spirit of the Vietnamese people.
