A new set of Reinas del Paraguay (Queens of Paraguay) who will represent "the heart of South America" at Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth pageants will be crowned on Friday, August 26 at Paseo La Galería in Asunción. After several casting events that took place in the cities of Encarnación Villarrica, Asunción, and Ciudad del Este last June, a total of 14 beauties made it to the final list of official contestants. Four national titles are at stake in the upcoming national competition - Miss Universo Paraguay, Miss Mundo Paraguay, Miss Internacional Paraguay, and Miss Tierra Paraguay 2022. Kenyatta Beazer, representing the Northeast, was crowned Miss US International 2022 last month at Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida. The 25-year-old model and chemistry student at Towson University hails from Baltimore City County, Maryland. She is expected to represent the USA at Miss International 2023. "I am so honored, and forever grateful for the opportunity to serve my community and my country," she wrote in a statement on social media after winning her title. Last year's winner Corrin Stellakis, who relinquished her reign at the end of the event, will compete in Miss International 2022 this December in Japan. Reigning Miss International Sireethorn Leearamwat has officially arrived for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to attend the special send-off ceremony for Miss International Vietnam 2022. The Thai beauty was accompanied by Miss International Media Director Stephen Inventor Diaz during her official visit to the Southeast Asian country. Miss International Vietnam organizers, Sen Vang Entertainment, held an official press conference to sash Miss Vietnam 2020 runner-up and now Vietnam's representative to the upcoming 60th Miss International pageant, Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh. The 18th Miss Mongolia pageant was held last Saturday, June 4 at the UG Palace in Ulaanbaatar. Nomin-Erdene Bayarkhuu, a 25-year-old beauty who hails from the capital city, was named Miss Mongolia 2022. She will represent her country at the 60th Miss International (Miss International 2022) pageant in Japan later this year.
