The Miss Ukraine Committee has officially announced that applications for Miss Ukraine 2022 edition are now open. Ukrainian women living in any country who meet all the requirements of the pageant may submit their applications. For safety reasons, this year's casting will be held in two formats - online and offline. Details on the competition including the final date and format are yet to be announced but they will most likely be based on the security situation in the country. Every year, the contestants of Miss Ukraine engage themselves in various charitable initiatives, but this year due to the current situation in Ukraine, the pageant will focus on helping displaced children affected by the military action. The Glamanand Supermodel India 2022 final competition took place on Sunday, September 4 at Zee Studios in a city of rich cultural heritage, Jaipur. Kashish Methwani, 21, was named Miss International India 2023 and will represent her country at the Miss International 2023 pageant. Her predecessor, last year's titleholder Zoya Afroz will compete in Miss International 2022 in Japan this December. The title of Miss Grand India 2022 went to 24-year-old Praachi Nagpal, who was crowned by Miss Grand India 2020 Simran Sharma. The inaugural edition of the Miss Zimbabwe Queen pageant will take place on Saturday, September 10 at the Harare International Conference Center (HICC). Former Miss Zimbabwe Brita Masalethulini will host the big show with Zimbabwean Radio DJ and businessman Tich Mataz while comedienne Madam Boss, fashion stylist Tafadzwa Zimoyo and fashion entrepreneur Hollywood Lee will host the red carpet. The names of the first 19 contestants competing for Miss Venezuela 2022, the 70th Miss Venezuela edition, have been announced. According to Nina Sicilia, former Miss International and now general manager of Miss Venezuela organization, from around 300 beauties were shortlisted through the online application process, only 60 advanced to the face-to-face evaluation and finally, only 19 made it to the final list.
