Miss Ecuador 2022 is Nayelhi González Ulloa


Nayelhi González Ulloa bested 17 other contestants to be crowned Miss Ecuador 2022 (Miss Ecuador Universo 2022) on Saturday, September 3 at Malecón de Quevedo, Los Ríos.

The 26-year-old beauty succeeds last year's winner, Susy Sacoto Mendoza. She is a nursing graduate and professional model from Esmeraldas.

Georgette Kalil Roha, 20, finished as first runner-up and was named Miss Ecuador Internacional 2022. The clinical psychology student from Guayaquil succeeds Valeria Gutierrez and is expected to compete in Miss International 2023.

The second runner-up went to Samantha Quenedit Sánchez while Diana Puga Cadena, Juliana Robles Requelme, and Landy Parraga Goyburo were the third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Ecuador will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in the first quarter of 2023.

Ecuador has yet to win the Miss Universe pageant. Its highest placement was second runner-up in 2013 with Constanza Báez Jalil.

Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Top 6 national costumes announced

The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes. Following the competition the costumes from Baguio City , Roxie Baeyens, Iloilo Province , Nicklyn Jutay, Negros Occidental , Alexandria Colmenares, Pampanga , Allyson Hetland, Pangasinan , Donna Nuguid, and Tacloban City , Jacqueline Gulrajani were announced the Top 6. Miss Universe Mexico 2025 is Fatima Bosch of Tabasco

Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. The Mister International pageant, a celebrated event in the world of male beauty, was established in 2006 in Singapore by Alan Sim, its original president and founder. Elena Hidalgo was crowned Miss Universe Costa Rica 2024 on Tuesday, September 10 at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones ANDE (CIC ANDE) in San Antonio. The 32-year-old professional model from San José beat 12 other contestants to win the national title. She made history as the first mother to become Miss Universe Costa Rica.
