Miss Louisiana USA 2024 is Sydney Taylor of Lafayette

Sydney Taylor, the representative of Lafayette, was crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2024 in a glittering competition on Saturday, March 30 at Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie. The 22-year-old former Miss Teen Louisiana USA and Miss Teen USA 2020 fourth runner-up will head to California to compete for Miss USA 2024 this summer. Miss Louisiana USA 2023 is Sylvia Masters

Miss Sportsman's Paradise USA Sylvia Masters was crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2023 on Saturday, February 4 at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie, Louisiana. The 27-year-old news anchor and accomplished musician from Houma succeeded KT Scannell and will represent Louisiana at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Rounding out the Top 5 were first runner-up Josie Stephens of Acadiana, second runner-up Lexie Martin of Baton Rouge, third runner-up Trinitee Johnson of Southeast, and fourth runner-up Ella Clark of Crescent City. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Louisiana USA already joined the state competition several times before winning the state title. She was named third runner-up in 2021 and second runner-up in 2022. Sylvia is a graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in mass communication and journalism. She is currently a morning anchor and reporter for KLFY News 10 in Lafayette covering news and events that affect Acadiana and Southwest Louisiana
