Miss Louisiana USA 2024 is Sydney Taylor of Lafayette


Sydney Taylor, the representative of Lafayette, was crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2024 in a glittering competition on Saturday, March 30 at Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie.

The 22-year-old former Miss Teen Louisiana USA and Miss Teen USA 2020 fourth runner-up will head to California to compete for Miss USA 2024 this summer.

"My heart is so full of gratitude and I’m so thankful for this journey that God has placed in front of me," Sydney posted on social media.

"I can't even express the amount of gratitude I feel to have the chance to represent Louisiana at Miss USA and to spread love across the state for a whole year."

The new Miss Louisiana USA succeeds last year's winner, news anchor Sylvia Masters.

Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. Marcél Roux from South Africa secured the first runner-up position, while Daniel Jiawei Li from China, Ramón Alcántara from the Dominican Republic, and Gabriel Castañeda from Mexico took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively. Miss Universe Netherlands 2026 is Melissa Bottema from Groningen

Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul.
