The 71st Miss World Top Designer and Top Model competition was held last Saturday, March 2 at the Aurika, Mumbai Skycity in Mumbai. Strutting the runway in black dresses brought from their respective countries, the 112 contestants impressed the judges before the decision for the Top 5 from each continent was announced. Axelle René of Martinique won the Top Model competition with her remarkable catwalk performance followed by Nursena Say of Türkiye, Lesego Chombo of Botswana, and Sophia Hrivňáková of Slovakia who were declared the winners for Asia and Oceania, Africa, and Europe, respectively. Chleo Modestine was proclaimed Miss Martinique 2023 on Saturday, September 23 at the Grand Carbet du Parc Culturel Aimé Césaire in Fort-de-France, Martinique. The 21-year-old beauty hailing from Vauclin bested nine other competitors to win the regional competition. She will represent Martinique at the 94th Miss France later this year.
