Miss Grand Mexico 2022 is Laysha Salazar

Laysha Anaili Salazar Ocejo was officially announced as Miss Grand Mexico 2022 in a special ceremony held on Thursday, August 25 at the Victoria Hall of the Los Lagos Country Club in Hermosillo. The 19-year-old beauty hails from the city of Hermosillo, in the center of the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. She is pursuing a degree in entertainment business management. Previously owned by the Miss Mexico Organization, the license for Miss Grand Mexico has now been taken over by Venezuelan businessman Flavio Falsiroli. The newly appointed Miss Grand Mexico is no stranger to pageantry. In 2021, she was named Miss Teen Universe Mexico and went on to compete in the Miss Teen Universe pageant in Nicaragua where she placed in the Top 10. Laysha will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. Mexicana Universal 2022: Irma Miranda of Sonora to represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2022

Irma Miranda, representative of the state of Sonora, was crowned Mexicana Universal 2022 (Miss Universe Mexico 2022) at the Centro de Convenciones de San Luis Potosí (San Luis Potosi Convention Center) on Saturday, May 21. The 25-year-old TV host and business administration graduate bested 31 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds Débora Hallal of Sinaloa and will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2022 later this year. Itzía Garcia of Colima clinched the title Mexicana International 2023 (Miss International Mexico 2023) and will be sent to next year's Miss International pageant in Japan. Diana Robles of Guanajuato and Verónica Gamboa of Nayarit were named Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2022 and Mexicana Latinoamericana 2023, respectively, while Mayra Valencia of Nuevo León became first runner-up. Miss Mexico Organization has officially announced Regina González Salman as Miss Supranational Mexico 2022 on Thursday, February 10 via social media. The 19-year-old is a graphic designer and student of industrial engineering and business innovation. She was previously designated as Miss Quintana Roo and competed during last year's Miss Mexico where she placed as first runner-up. Regina will now prepare to represent her country at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant, possibly to be held this July in Poland. Karolina Vidales of Mexico was announced the winner of the Miss World 2021 Sports Challenge and will now automatically earn a place at the semi-final. Andrea Bazarte of Mexico bested 26 other contestants to be crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 in a gleaming competition held on Saturday, October 30 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The 28-year-old model who holds a degree in marketing was able to achieve a historic back-to-back win for her country. She succeeds her fellow Mexican, Regina Peredo. Michoacán representative Karolina Vidales was crowned Miss Mexico 2021 at Lago Di Como in Chihuahua on Saturday, July 3. The 24-year-old beauty holds a bachelor's degree in business administration. She bested 31 other contestants from across Mexico to win the national competition.  Karolina will represent her country at Miss World 2021 to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Jalisco's Mariana Macías was named Miss Mexico Grand 2021 and will be sent to the Miss Grand International 2021 later this year. Andrea Meza of Mexico was crowned as the 69th Miss Universe in a glittering competition held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA on Sunday, May 16. She succeeds Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa. The 26-year-old beauty who hails from Chihuahua bested 73 other delegates from around the world to win the third Miss Universe title for her country. She previously placed first runner-up at Miss World 2017 pageant. Julia Gama of Brazil was named first runner-up while Janick Maceta of Peru finished second runner-up. Adline Castelino of India and Kimberly Jiménez of the Dominican Republic were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Mexico 2021 grand final will be held this July 3 in the northwestern Mexican state of Chihuahua. The recent announcement was made by the Miss Mexico Organization on its official social media pages. Chihuahua's Ashley Alvídrez, the reigning Miss Mexico, has been waiting to crown her successor who will compete in the 70th Miss World pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico, later this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 4th edition of the national competition has been postponed a few times. The national organization is responsible for sending Mexican representatives to Miss Grand International and Miss World pageants. Alejandra Suárez was named Miss Hidalgo 2021 in a state competition held at the municipality of Real del Monte last Saturday, March 27. The 24-year-old beauty representing Pachuca is a dance student at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo).
