Angelika Jurkowianiec was crowned Miss Polski 2023 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, July 16 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz. The 26-year-old model, medical analysis student, and dental clinic employee from the province of Opolskie bested 31 other competitors to win the national title. She is now expected to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. Julia Marcinkowska was named first runner-up while Dominika Staniaszek, Patrycja Jarocka, and Martyna Rurańska were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner who relinquished her reign at the end of the event, Aleksandra Klepaczka, participated in Miss Universe 2022 last January, and on Saturday in Miss Supranational 2023 where she placed in the Top 24. Following rounds of casting, a total of 32 finalists from 16 Polish provinces have been chosen to compete for the title of Miss Polski 2023 (Miss Poland 2023). They will undergo training and preparations leading up to the national final on July 16 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska. Aleksandra Klepaczka, last year's winner who participated in Miss Universe 2022 and will soon take part in Miss Supranational 2023, will crown her successor at the end of the event. Miss Polski organization has officially confirmed on Wednesday, September 21 that Aleksandra Klepaczka will be representing Poland at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana this January. The 23-year-old IT company employee was crowned Miss Polski 2022 from a field of 24 finalists during the national competition held on July 17 in Nowy Sącz. She hails from Bukowiec and is pursuing a management engineering degree at the Lodz University of Technology. "You don't even know how happy I am to pass this information on to you," she wrote in a statement on social media after the official announcement. "I am already starting preparations for this event. Miss Polski 2022 first runner-up Sylwia Stasińska (right) has been officially announced as Miss International Poland 2022 on Monday, September 12. The 24-year-old model and law student is originally from Chełm but has now been living in Gdańsk. Aside from modeling under New Stage Model Management and studying, she is also a social media manager. Sylwia participated in Miss Polski 2022 final in July where she placed second to Aleksandra Klepaczka. She will now prepare to represent Poland at the 60th Miss International (Miss International 2022) pageant in Japan this December. "It is a huge honor and distinction to represent Poland in such a prestigious competition. I promise I will do my best and will proudly represent our country in the international arena," she wrote in a statement on social media. Miss Polski 2022 second runner-up Patrycja Krzywoń from Kraków has been officially appointed as The Miss Globe Poland 2022. The 24-year-old beauty is a model and law student at Jagiellonian University. She also studies foreign languages and speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German fluently. Her special interests include issues related to Spanish-speaking countries and human rights. Patricia will fly to Tirana, Albania on September 30 to compete in The Miss Globe 2022 pageant, whose final is scheduled on October 15 at Skanderbeg Square. Miss Polski organization has officially announced its reigning queen Agata Wdowiak as Poland's representative at Miss Supranational 2022 competition. The 24-year-old model from Lodz was crowned Miss Polski 2021 in August last year and went on to compete at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel. "I'm more than excited. Another international contest ahead of me," she shared on her social media account. Agata has a degree in business management and is currently studying Nanotechnology. She has always been passionate about music and graduated from music school with honors. Miss Supranational 2022 will be the 13th edition of the Poland-based pageant. Agata Wdowiak bested 23 other contestants to be crowned Miss Polski 2021 (Miss Poland) in a glittering competition held on Friday, August 20 in Nowy Sącz. The 24-year-old model from Lodz is a graduate of geomonitoring, business management, and is currently studying nanotechnology at the Lodz University of Technology. Natalia Brzozowska and Magdalena Majda were the first and second runners-up respectively while Dominika Dąda and Stella Czyszewicz completed the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss Polski succeeds last year's winner, Anna-Maria Jaromin of Katowice. It has yet to be announced which international pageant she will go to represent Poland. Natalia Balicka was officially announced as the newly appointed Miss Supranational Poland 2021 on Wednesday, July 7. The 21-year-old medical student from Poznan was first runner-up at Miss Polski 2020 won by Anny-Marii Jaromin. She will represent Poland at the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant to be held this August in Nowy Sącz. Anna-Maria Jaromin bested 23 other finalists to be crowned Miss Polski 2020 (Miss Poland) in Warsaw on Sunday, January 17. The 22-year-old beauty from Katowice is a student of internal security with a specialization in psycho criminology. She is most passionate about horse riding and her biggest dream is to write a book.
