Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe travels to Ecuador

Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe arrived in Guayaquil, Ecuador earlier this week as a special guest in the upcoming CNB Ecuador 2022 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) pageant. The Namibian beauty was also part of the panel of judges who are tasked to choose the next Ecuadorian representative at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. "Yesterday was interview day here at [CNB Ecuador] and it was absolutely lovely to get to know the ladies," Chanique shared on her social media account. "I can’t believe the final show is tonight. Thank you [CNB Ecuador] and [Miss Supranational Ecuador] for having me on your panel of judges. I can see the amount of effort and passion being put into this competition and I’m super excited for tonight," she added. Namibia's Chanique Rabe is the first-ever woman from her country to be crowned Miss Supranational and the second Namibian to win a major pageant after Miss Universe 1992 Michelle McLean. The 24-year-old edged out 57 other beauties from around the world to win the 12th edition of the international pageant. She was joined in the Top 5 by Puerto Rico's Karla Acevedo, South Africa's Thato Mosehle, Venezuela's Valentina Sanchez, and Dominican Republic's Eoanna Constanza. Miss Supranational 2021 is Namibia's Chanique Rabe

Chanique Rabe of Namibia bested 57 other contestants to win Miss Supranational 2021 on Saturday, August 21 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. The 24-year-old beauty who was born and raised in Windhoek is an ambassador for Hope Village Orphanage and she teaches sewing to children through her own charity project called The Mending Project. Karla Guilfú Acevedo of Puerto Rico and Thato Mosehle of South Africa were the first and second runners-up respectively while Valentina Sánchez of Venezuela was the third runner-up, and Eoanna Constanza of Dominican was fourth runner-up. The new Miss Supranational is no stranger to pageantry as she previously held the titles Miss Teen Namibia 2014 and Miss Teen Continents 2015. Louise-Marie Losfeld (Belgium), Alice Li (China), Darelys Santos (Panama), Karla Guilfú Acevedo (Puerto Rico), and Amelia Michael Sky (South Sudan) were named the Top Models of their respective regions. The winner of the Top Model competition will automatically advance to the final Top 24 on Saturday, August 21. Miss Supranational Ghana 2021 Verónica Sarfo Adu Nti was named Miss Talent on Wednesday, August 18 at the Hotel Beskid in Nowy Sącz. Shivali Patel (USA), Linda Sibrián (El Salvador), Queenie Benjarat (Thailand), and Jenelle Thongs (Trinidad and Tobago) completed the Top 5 finalists. The professional makeup artist and singer from Kokofu in the Ashanti Region, Ghana, will compete with 57 other beauties during the 12th edition of Miss Supranational on Saturday, August 21 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. Miss Supranational Belgium 2021 Louise-Marie Losfeld was awarded Miss Photogenic during the Miss Supranational 2021 preliminary competition held at Hotel Beskid in Nowy Sącz on Tuesday, August 17. "Today was such an amazing day. We did the preliminary and I won the title of Miss Supranational Photogenic. I’m so grateful. Can’t wait until the big final," Louise-Marie shared on her social media account.
