Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe travels to Ecuador


Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe arrived in Guayaquil, Ecuador earlier this week as a special guest in the upcoming CNB Ecuador 2022 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) pageant.

The Namibian beauty was also part of the panel of judges who are tasked to choose the next Ecuadorian representative at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland this July.

"Yesterday was interview day here at [CNB Ecuador] and it was absolutely lovely to get to know the ladies," Chanique shared on her social media account.

"I can’t believe the final show is tonight. Thank you [CNB Ecuador] and [Miss Supranational Ecuador] for having me on your panel of judges. I can see the amount of effort and passion being put into this competition and I’m super excited for tonight," she added.

The reigning Miss Supranational also had the honor of meeting the vice mayor of Guayaquil, Josué Sánchez, who gave her team a tour of the historic city hall and presented them with gifts to help them get to know more of Ecuador's second-largest city. She considers her first trip to South America "an incredible experience."

Chanique will crown her successor at the culmination of the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland this July.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 12 were the representatives of  Barinas, Anabelly Ojeda, Bolívar, Yosdanny Navarro, Delta Amacuro, Kelly Maita, Dependencias Federales, Valentina Martínez, Portuguesa, Génesis Mendoza, Sucre, Rosangel Mundaraín, and Táchira, Valeria del Amor. The highly anticipated official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for Miss Venezuela 2022 took place on Saturday, November 10 in Caracas. Hosted by "Súper Sábado Sensacional" presenter Henrys Silva, the special show aired on Venevisión with simultaneous live streaming on missvenezuela.tv . 70th Miss Universe contestants tour Jerusalem old city in Israel

Despite imposing travel restrictions due to the Omicron coronavirus variant, Israel's hosting of the 70th Miss Universe pageant is pushing through. The contestants were taken to a tour of Jerusalem's old city on Tuesday, November 30 in their sneakers, pantsuits, and cocktail dresses. They visited some notable landmarks in the city such as the Tower of David Museum and Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Their final itinerary of the day was a tea party at King David Hotel where they met with important persons such as Mayor Moshe Lion, local female politicians, and heads of organizations that fight poverty and violence against women. Over 70 beauties are expected to continue their journey to the Miss Universe crown in Eilat next week where they will go through a series of pre-pageant activities and preliminary competitions prior to the final on December 12. Hinaupoko Devèze from Tahiti was crowned Miss France 2026 on Saturday, December 6 at the Zénith d'Amiens in Amiens, Hauts-de-France. The 23-year-old model bested 29 other contestants to win the prestigious national pageant. She succeeds Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique. Juliette Collet of Nouvelle-Calédonie was named first runner-up while Victoire Dupuis of Normandie, Naomi Torrent of Guadeloupe, and Déborah Adelin-Chabal of Roussillon placed second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The final group of national finalists for Miss Universe Australia 2024 was revealed during the South Australia state final on Monday, April 8 at Feathers Hotel in Burnside. Three beauties have been selected to represent South Australia at the national competition in August. They are Courtney Spear, Olivija Spanovskis, and Belinda Lesi.
