Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe travels to Ecuador


Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe arrived in Guayaquil, Ecuador earlier this week as a special guest in the upcoming CNB Ecuador 2022 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) pageant.

The Namibian beauty was also part of the panel of judges who are tasked to choose the next Ecuadorian representative at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland this July.

"Yesterday was interview day here at [CNB Ecuador] and it was absolutely lovely to get to know the ladies," Chanique shared on her social media account.

"I can’t believe the final show is tonight. Thank you [CNB Ecuador] and [Miss Supranational Ecuador] for having me on your panel of judges. I can see the amount of effort and passion being put into this competition and I’m super excited for tonight," she added.

The reigning Miss Supranational also had the honor of meeting the vice mayor of Guayaquil, Josué Sánchez, who gave her team a tour of the historic city hall and presented them with gifts to help them get to know more of Ecuador's second-largest city. She considers her first trip to South America "an incredible experience."

Chanique will crown her successor at the culmination of the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland this July.

Emma Mary Tiglao of the Philippines was crowned Miss Grand International 2025 on Saturday, October 18 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 30-year-old news anchor from Mabalacat City, Pampanga bested 76 other contestants to clinch the second golden crown for the Philippines. Sarunrat Puagpipat of Thailand, Aitana Carolina Jimenez of Spain, Faith Maria Porter of Ghana, and Nariman Battikha of Venezuela were announced the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. Melissa Queenie Sapini was officially crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2025 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, October 18 at The Palm Theater (Embassy Suites) in Boca Raton, Florida. The 22-year-old Haitian-American TV host will now prepare to represent Haiti at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November.
