Miss Supranational Botswana 2024 is Leah Khumo Barobetse

Leah Khumo Barobetse was crowned Miss Supranational Botswana 2024 on Saturday, April 6 at BNYC, Fairgrounds in Gaborone. The 25-year-old model and licensed aesthetic laser therapist will represent Botswana at Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Kefilwe Gabonakemo was named first runner-up while Seabe Sefakonyana finished as second runner-up. Last year's winner and Miss Supranational 2023 Top 24 Dabilo Moses crowned her successor at the end of the event. Miss Supranational Botswana 2023 is Dabilo Moses

Dabilo Moses was crowned Miss Supranational Botswana 2023 on Saturday, April 15 at the Royal Aria Convention Center in Gaborone. The 22-year-old model hailing from Maitengwe bested 11 other finalists to win the first edition of the national pageant. She will now prepare to represent Botswana at Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland this July. Laura Alfred was named the first runner-up while Stephinah Sebina finished second runner-up. Precious Haushiko and Mosa Balesamang rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Reigning Miss Supranational from South Africa, Lalela Mswane attended the event as a special guest. No stranger to pageantry, the first ever Miss Supranational Botswana was a finalist at Miss Botswana 2021 and last year, she clinched the title of Miss Independence Botswana 2022. Dabilo is pursuing a degree in broadcasting and journalism at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and aspires to one day become a communication specialist. View this post on Instagram

Miss Supranational 2022 Lalela Mswane receives warm welcome in Botswana

The reigning Miss Supranational, Lalela Mswane, touched down at Gaborone's Sir Seretse Khama International Airport for her 2-day visit to Botswana. It is the first time a Miss Supranational winner is visiting the country. Welcomed by a group of traditional dancers and the 12 finalists competing for the Miss Supranational Botswana 2023 title, Mswane excitedly joined in with the dancers to the delight of the onlookers. "I am overwhelmed by the warmth and the beauty of the people and I feel quite overwhelmed to see such strong, accomplished women sitting in front of me today. I want to remind each one of you that it's not the crown that makes you, it's you that makes the crown," Mswane said at a press conference.
