Miss Supranational Botswana 2023: Meet the 12 finalists

Miss Supranational Botswana 2023 grand final will be held this Saturday, April 15 at the Royal Aria Convention Center in Gaborone.

A total of 12 stunning finalists have been selected to take part in the forthcoming national pageant's first edition organized by Something Big Botswana.

Reigning Miss Supranational from South Africa, Lalela Mswane, has arrived in the country for the first time on Friday, April 14 to attend the event as a special guest.

The winner of Miss Supranational Botswana 2023 will represent "the land of diamonds, flora and fauna" at the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland this July.

Meet the newly crowned Reina Filipinas 2026 queens

The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Alexie Caimoso Brooks, former Miss Eco International winner, from Iloilo and Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz, former Miss International Queen Philippines, from Manila were both crowned Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars 2026. Aslihan Morali crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026

Aslihan Morali, from Ancaster, Ontario, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026 on Saturday, August 8 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor. The Turkish-Canadian advocate, entrepreneur, model and actor succeeds last year's winner Jaime VandenBerg and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. First runner-up Jabili Kandula was named Miss Cosmo Canada 2026 and will head to Vietnam for the Miss Cosmo 2026 competition later this year. Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. Tharina Botes, representing Bangkok, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2026 on Sunday, August 23 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 29-year-old beauty beat over 70 other contestants to win the national title and she will now represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this November. Suttida Aiadpu of Phuket was named first runner-up while Helena Sarakan of Udon Thani, Sasiwararin Atsawahirankarn of Chiang Mai, and Manatsawee Nilbuala of Ubon Ratchathani were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul.
