Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe travels to Ecuador

Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe arrived in Guayaquil, Ecuador earlier this week as a special guest in the upcoming CNB Ecuador 2022 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) pageant. The Namibian beauty was also part of the panel of judges who are tasked to choose the next Ecuadorian representative at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. "Yesterday was interview day here at [CNB Ecuador] and it was absolutely lovely to get to know the ladies," Chanique shared on her social media account. "I can’t believe the final show is tonight. Thank you [CNB Ecuador] and [Miss Supranational Ecuador] for having me on your panel of judges. I can see the amount of effort and passion being put into this competition and I’m super excited for tonight," she added. The second edition of the Miss Supranational Namibia pageant was held last Saturday, March 26 at the Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW) in Windhoek. Julita Kitwe Mbangula, a 26-year-old junior medical doctor was crowned Miss Supranational Nambia 2022 while a 3-year-old radio presenter from Windhoek, Jean-Louis Knouwds, was named Mister Supranational Namibia 2022. They will represent their Southern African country at the next Miss Supranational and Mister Supranational competitions in Poland this July. Miss Supranational 2021 is Namibia's Chanique Rabe

Chanique Rabe of Namibia bested 57 other contestants to win Miss Supranational 2021 on Saturday, August 21 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. The 24-year-old beauty who was born and raised in Windhoek is an ambassador for Hope Village Orphanage and she teaches sewing to children through her own charity project called The Mending Project. Karla Guilfú Acevedo of Puerto Rico and Thato Mosehle of South Africa were the first and second runners-up respectively while Valentina Sánchez of Venezuela was the third runner-up, and Eoanna Constanza of Dominican was fourth runner-up. The new Miss Supranational is no stranger to pageantry as she previously held the titles Miss Teen Namibia 2014 and Miss Teen Continents 2015. Anntonia Porsild, the longest-reigning Miss Supranational from Thailand crowned her successor following an emotional farewell walk.
