Christianna Katsieri has been officially announced as Miss Universe Greece 2024 by the Star & Mr GS Hellas organization. The 22-year-old model has previously held the title Miss GS Hellas 2022 and became Miss Earth Greece 2023. She went on to represent Greece at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam last December. Her predecessor Marielia Zaloumi was last year's Star GS Hellas and Miss Universe Greece, who went to Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador last November. Christianna will now prepare for the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) pageant in Mexico later this year. Marielia Zaloumi was crowned Star GS Hellas 2023 (Miss Universe Greece 2023) in a national competition held on Thursday, September 28 at Vegas Live Stage in Tavros. The 20-year-old business management graduate and advocate from Athens competed against 17 other contestants to win the coveted title. She succeeds last year's winner Korina Emmanouilidou and will now prepare to represent Greece at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Along with Star GS Hellas, the title of Mr GS Hellas 2023 (Mister Supranational Greece 2024) went to a 24-year-old fitness coach, Giannis Dolianitis. He will go on to compete in Mister Supranational 2024 in Poland. Aside from Miss Universe, the GS Hellas pageant also holds the license to send Greek representatives to Miss Earth, Miss Supranational, The Miss Globe, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Elite. Korina Emmanouilidou (Κορίνα Εμμανουήλιδου) was named Star GS Hellas 2022 (Miss Universe Greece) on Thursday, September 29 at the Lohan Night Club in Athens. She succeeded last year's titleholder, Sofia Arapogianni. The 22-year-old model, aesthetician, and makeup artist from Thessaloniki will now represent Greece at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January. Former Miss World Greece Rafaela Plastira has been named Miss Universe Greece 2021. She succeeds Miss Universe Greece 2018, Ioanna Bella. The 21-year-old model was crowned Star Hellas 2019 and went to compete in the 69th Miss World pageant in London. She holds a degree in the management of social services and aspires to pursue postgraduate study in journalism. "My dream since a young girl has come true. I can't wait to represent my country again," she shared online. "This time it's gonna be very different for me. It will be my last pageant so I will give my all into it," she added.
