Star GS Hellas 2022: Korina Emmanouilidou to represent Greece at 71st Miss Universe


Korina Emmanouilidou (Κορίνα Εμμανουήλιδου) was named Star GS Hellas 2022 (Miss Universe Greece) on Thursday, September 29 at the Lohan Night Club in Athens. She succeeded last year's titleholder, Sofia Arapogianni.

The 22-year-old model, aesthetician, and makeup artist from Thessaloniki will now represent Greece at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January.

A total of 20 beauties were chosen to take part in the glittering national final.

Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Sıla Saraydemir, a 22-year-old student, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2025. She is expected to represent Turkey at the 73rd Miss World competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced. The new Miss Turkey World received her crown and sash from former titleholder, Miss Turkey World 1995 Demet Şener. Miss World Guatemala 2024 is Jeymi Escobedo

Jeymi Escobedo was crowned Miss World Guatemala 2024 during the glittering Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City. The 18-year-old, representing the department of Suchitepéquez, succeeds  Marcela Miranda and will now prepare to represent Guatemala at the 72nd Miss World. Also crowned during the event were the representatives of the country for Miss International 2024, Miss Grand International 2024, and Reina Hispanoamericana 2024. The title Miss International Guatemala 2024 went to Helen Morales while Cristina Gonzalo and Elizabeth Blanco were the Miss Grand Guatemala 2024 and Reina Hispanoamericana 2024, respectively. Russia's Varvara Yakovenko wins Miss Intercontinental 2025

Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Lorena Suárez Lara from Cuba was named first runner-up while Vanessa Natcha Wenk of Thailand and Faidha Kassim Kivuyo of Tanzania were the second and third runners-up, respectively. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Kimberly de Boer of Curacao beat 27 other contestants to win Reina Hispanoamericana 2026 on Saturday, February 21 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The 21-year-old artist and painter from Willemstad became the second woman from Curacao to hold the title next to Evalina Van Putten (2011). Marta Isabel Otero of Colombia placed second (Virreina Hispanoamericana 2026) while Criselys Garcia of the Dominican Republic and Melissa Payró of Mexico were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Earth USA Bea Millan-Windorski joins Miss Universe Philippines 2026

Filipino-American Bea Millan-Windorski has recently been appointed as the official representative for the province of La Union at Miss Universe Philippines 2026. At just 24 years old, she is well-acquainted with the world of pageantry, having participated in Miss Earth USA 2024 in Orlando, Florida, where she clinched the title while representing Wisconsin. This achievement made her the first Filipino-American to secure a national title. As Miss Earth USA, she went on to compete in Miss Earth 2024 in the Philippines, where she impressively placed in the Top 4 out of 76 contestants, earning the title of Miss Earth Water. The 22-year-old pharmacy student and model of Italian and Gabonese descent succeeds last year's winner Karen Jansen. Justine Tack from Ousselghem and Aicha Verheye from Ostend were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Kelly Godefroid, Catherine Choquet, and Albertina Rodrigues were respectively awarded Miss Sympathy, Miss Social Media and Miss Model. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018.
