The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant culminated on Wednesday, May 22 at a top-of-mind venue for entertainment and sports events in the Philippines, the Mall of Asia Arena (MOA). Bulacan's Chelsea Manalo took home the coveted crown from a field of 53 contestants following the highly competitive rounds of swimsuit, evening gown, and interviews. Her victory marked a historic milestone in Philippine pageantry as she became the first-ever Filipina-African American woman to hold the Miss Universe Philippines title. She was crowned by outgoing queen Michelle Dee as her country's official representative to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico possibly this November. Chelsea Manalo was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2024 during the grand coronation night on Wednesday, May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. The 24-year-old model from Meycauayan, Bulacan bested over 50 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Stacey Gabriel of Cainta was named first runner-up while the representatives of Quezon Province, Maria Ahtisa Manalo, Baguio City, Tarah Valencia, and Taguig, Christi McGarry were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The Top 5 finalists for the runway challenge of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant have been officially announced. They are Matea Mahal Smith of Florida, Alexie Brooks of Iloilo City, Angel Rose Tambal of Leyte, Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province, and Stephanie Faye Gerona of Quirino. The same with the swimsuit and interview challenge, the Top 5 wearing Jojo Bragais shoes for the runway were determined entirely by fan votes. Thai superstar Win Metawin to perform at Miss Universe Philippines 2024

Global celebrity and Thai superstar Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn will be performing at the grand coronation night of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant. Win came to prominence in 2020 for his acting debut in a leading role in a Thai romantic comedy series "2gether: The Series" with Bright Vachirawit. He recently became the first Thai and Southeast Asian to be appointed House Ambassador for the American luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. In March, he bagged the AFA Rising Star Award at the 17th Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong where he also premiered his first international movie "Under Parallel Skies" directed by Filipino director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo. Jeannie will join former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA and Filipino actor Alden Richards in hosting the highly anticipated event. The Emmy award-winning TV personality was a backstage correspondent for the Miss Universe pageant in 2011, 2012, and 2013 then co-hosted the 2022 and 2023 editions. According to the Miss Universe Philippines organization, the finalists for the challenge were determined purely by public votes via the official app of the pageant. The Top 5 contestants were Patricia Bianca Tapia of Hawaii, Alexie Mae Brooks of Iloilo City, Stephanie Faye Gerona of Quirino, Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province, and Christi Lynn McGarry of Taguig City. The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 national costume competition was held last April 28 at Provincial Capitol Gym in Sultan Kudarat. Out of 53 colorful and spectacular costumes inspired by the rich flora and fauna of the Philippines as this year's theme, only three winners have been announced. The winning costumes were from Alexie Mae Brooks of Iloilo, Janet Hammond of Southern California, and Tamara Ocier of Tacloban. They each received P100,000 in cash. The Miss Universe Philippines organization has officially announced former Miss Universe of the USA, R'Bonney Gabriel as host of the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night. To recall, R'Bonney was crowned Miss Universe 2022 during the the 71st Miss Universe pageant held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans in January 2023. The Filipino-American fashion designer became the second Asian-American woman to win the Miss Universe title since Brook Lee (Miss Universe 1997) and so far, the oldest winner at 28 years old, succeeding Andrea Meza of Mexico. In a post on social media, the organization revealed that the coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2024 will take place on May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This year's event will mark the fifth edition of the national pageant headed by former titleholder Shamcey Supsup-Lee (Miss Universe Philippines 2011 and Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up). Tickets for the highly anticipated final show will be available to the general public starting April 8. Christi McGarry to represent Taguig at Miss Universe Philippines 2024

Christi McGarry, the former first runner-up of Miss Intercontinental 2015, has been officially appointed as Miss Universe Philippines - Taguig 2024. The 33-year-old Filipino-American model and TV personality will proudly represent Taguig in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition. Christi was a fellow contestant of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in Binibining Pilipinas 2015. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015 and had the honor of representing the Philippines in the Miss Intercontinental 2015 pageant held in Germany. Making history, she became the first Filipina to represent her country twice in the same international pageant. In addition to finishing as the first runner-up, she also received the Miss Intercontinental Continental Queen of Asia and Oceania award. Miss South Triangle, Lorraine Ojimba bested 14 other contestants to win the Miss Universe Philippines - Quezon City 2024 final competition on Monday, February 5 at the Seda Vertis North in Diliman, Quezon City. The 25-year-old Filipina-Nigerian model will now prepare to represent the "City of Stars" in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant. Aside from winning the crown, she also bagged Miss Kemans QC, Miss Bragais, Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown, and Light of Representation awards.
