Chloe Powery-Doxey to represent Cayman Islands at 71st Miss Universe

Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2022 first runner-up Chloe Powery-Doxey has been confirmed to represent the Cayman Islands at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. The 25-year-old coach and Women of Valor Basketball Club alumna from the district of George Town replaced the national winner, Tiffany Conolly, who is currently facing legal proceedings related to assault, property damage, and disorderly conduct. As is customary, if for any reason a queen is unable to complete her reign or perform her duties, the first runner-up shall take over. The upcoming Miss Universe edition will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA on January 14.
