The Thai transgender businesswoman, also known as Anne JKN, made the announcement of full ownership of MUO on social media with the caption "Yes, I own it all, I am the sole owner, and finally, the universe is ours." Montana Onose Felix was named Miss Universe Nigeria 2022 after placing first runner-up during the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2022 pageant on Friday, October 21 at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos. The 21-year-old model and actress, currently based in Texas, represented the Nigerian State of Edo in the 34th MBGN edition. Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam will be wearing a Songkran-inspired national costume for the upcoming 71st Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Thailand organizers revealed the winning design called "Iconic of Songkran" on Wednesday, October 12 on its official social media accounts. Out of hundreds of entries from talented Thai designers, three were selected to present their concept to the Miss Universe Thailand committee, and eventually, one design won the majority of the fans' and the judges' votes.
