Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel touches down in the Philippines

Filipino-American R'Bonney Gabriel arrived to a warm welcome in the Philippines on Wednesday, May 10 for her first visit to the country as reigning Miss Universe. Paula Shuggart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, and soon-to-be-resigned talent director Esther Swan accompanied her on this official trip. The Thai business mogul and owner of MUO from Thailand, Anne Jakrajutatip, arrived a few days ago. R'Bonney was invited as a special guest to the upcoming grand coronation night of the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant this Saturday. Before heading to the luxurious hotel Okada Manila, Miss Universe 2022 gave interviews to members of the press who waited for her at the international airport in Manila. The beauty queen was also beaming with smiles as she posed for photographs with fans, supporters, and her proud parents. While Jeremy was in his traditional kilt, Pia wore her dream wedding dress by Filipino fashion designer Bessie Besana as they exchanged vows in an intimate beach ceremony held on March 24 in one of the world's most exclusive private islands, the North Island, Seychelles. Andrea Erjavec was crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2023 on Wednesday, May 3 at the Emerald Hall of the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 23-year-old advocate for the mental and physical health of children hails from Perušić and is a student at the University of Zagreb pursuing a degree in education. She believes that everyone should have access to education, information, and resources to be able to actively participate in social processes and create positive change in the world. Lucciana Ćebo was named first runner-up while Sara Garac, Mihaela Posavec, and Polina Mytko were announced as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. A total of 16 finalists from various fields and backgrounds have been chosen to take part in this year's competition. Paola Kliba from Pula was voted by her co-finalists to win the Miss Congeniality award. Former Miss Supranational Anntonia Porsild to join Miss Universe Thailand 2023

Thailand's first Miss Supranational winner Anntonia Porsild will be joining Miss Universe Thailand 2023 according to several online sources. The 26-year-old beauty, born in India to a Thai mother and Danish father, was crowned Miss Supranational Thailand 2019 and went on to win the 11th Miss Supranational pageant in Katowice, Poland. TPN Global, the organizers of the annual Miss Universe Thailand competition, has yet to reveal important details for the highly anticipated 2023 edition including the official names of aspirants. Anntonia has yet to respond to a request for comment. There is no official announcement from her personally to confirm her participation but previously hinted at her big return with the sparkles emoji which in the pageantry world stands for Miss Universe. Former Miss Universe Puerto Rico Madison Anderson Berrios was announced on Monday, April 24 the winner of the third season of "La Casa de los Famosos" (The House of Celebrities). The beauty queen turned celebrity placed first runner-up to South Africa's Zozibini Tunzi when she represented Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia. Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi will be attending as a special guest at the grand coronation night of the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 competition. The South African beauty will be joining the reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel who will also be present at the highly anticipated event on May 13 at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay City. Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel has been announced to visit the Philippines as a special guest in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant. According to the announcement made by the Miss Universe Philippines organization on Thursday, April 13 via social media, the reigning queen from Texas, USA will be joined by former titleholder, Zozibini Tunzi (Miss Universe 2019) from South Africa. Aside from the special guests, the pageant organizers also named K-pop artist Nam Woo-Hyun and American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez as the official guest performers.
