Miss Universe runner-up Madison Anderson Berrios wins 'La Casa de los Famosos 3'


Former Miss Universe Puerto Rico Madison Anderson Berrios was announced on Monday, April 24 the winner of the third season of "La Casa de los Famosos" (The House of Celebrities).

The beauty queen turned celebrity placed first runner-up to South Africa's Zozibini Tunzi when she represented Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to Miss Universe, she was also third runner-up at Miss Grand International 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Madison will now take home a whopping $200,000 in prize money for winning the American Spanish-language version of the reality television franchise Celebrity Big Brother.

Mexican actress Patricia Navidad placed second while Mexican actor and model Pepe Gámez placed third. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Dominican singer-songwriter La Materialista (Yameyry Ynfante) and Colombian influencer José Rodríguez.

The reality show premiered on Telemundo in August 2021. Previous winners were former Miss Universe from Venezuela, Alicia Machado, and Mexican actress, model, and singer Ivone Montero.

Señorita Colombia 2021 is Valentina Espinosa of Bolívar

Valentina Espinosa, the representative of the Bolívar department, was chosen as the new Señorita Colombia 2021 (Miss Colombia 2021) in a ceremony full of color, music, and a lot of Colombian talent on Sunday, November 14 at the Auditorio Getsemaní del Centro de Convenciones Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala in Cartagena. The 23-year-old social communication and journalism professional triumphed over 24 other beauties to win her national title. She succeeds María Fernanda Aristizábal Urrea and is expected to represent her country at the next Miss Supranational edition in Poland. The 51 state winners competing for Miss USA 2024 have already been crowned in their respective state competitions. This year's pageant is considered the most diverse in the 73-year history of Miss USA since the Miss Universe Organization changed rules allowing all women from age 18 to compete. Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. Sigríður Ósk Hrafnkelsdóttir, also known as Sigga Ózk, was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík. The singer-songwriter from Garðabær will now prepare to represent Iceland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico this November. Miss Universe Spain 2026 is Susana Medina of Las Palmas

Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Pernambucana Luana Cavalcante was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2024 in a national competition held on Thursday, September 19 at Teatro Gamaro in São Paulo. The 25-year-old model and actress from the state of Pernambuco will represent Brazil at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November.
