Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach marries Jeremy Jauncey in Seychelles


Miss Universe 2015 from the Philippines Pia Wurtzbach has officially tied the knot with her Scottish entrepreneur fiancé Jeremy Jauncey.

The former beauty queen who returned to acting and modeling after her reign, made the announcement on social media on May 5 with a video captioned "Mr & Mrs Jauncey 24.03.2023."

While Jeremy was in his traditional kilt, Pia wore her dream wedding dress by Filipino fashion designer Bessie Besana as they exchanged vows in an intimate beach ceremony held on March 24 in one of the world's most exclusive private islands, the North Island, Seychelles.

To recall, the adorable couple made their relationship public in 2020 as they appeared on the cover of Tatler Philippines magazine. They announced their engagement two years later.

Jennifer Kraft Zhou was crowned the winner of the Miss Universe Hong Kong 2026 pageant on Friday, September 18 at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. The 27-year-old content creator surpassed 14 other contestants to secure the title. She received her crown from her predecessor, last year's champion Lizzie Li. Daiana Stefani Pereyra has officially been named the new Miss Universe Argentina 2026 after the crowned titleholder Tamara Rogouski stepped down for personal reasons. The 28-year-old cabin crew competed for La Pampa and earned the first runner-up position at the national pageant in May. She will now gear up to represent Argentina at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant scheduled for Puerto Rico this November. The Miss Denmark 2026 pageant, celebrating its 100th anniversary, took place on Sunday, September 13, at the renowned Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen. Simone Julie Lythje, a 21-year-old teaching assistant from Silkeborg, Jutland, has been named the new Miss Denmark. Dylan Palmerini from France was declared the winner of the Manhunt International 2026 competition on Wednesday, September 9, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Veera Grönlund, a 30-year-old from Helsinki, was crowned Miss Suomi 2026 (Miss Finland 2026) on Saturday, September 5, at Hybridiarena Hype in Espoo. The passionate animal advocate and aspiring veterinarian will represent Finland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this coming November.
