Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach marries Jeremy Jauncey in Seychelles


Miss Universe 2015 from the Philippines Pia Wurtzbach has officially tied the knot with her Scottish entrepreneur fiancé Jeremy Jauncey.

The former beauty queen who returned to acting and modeling after her reign, made the announcement on social media on May 5 with a video captioned "Mr & Mrs Jauncey 24.03.2023."

While Jeremy was in his traditional kilt, Pia wore her dream wedding dress by Filipino fashion designer Bessie Besana as they exchanged vows in an intimate beach ceremony held on March 24 in one of the world's most exclusive private islands, the North Island, Seychelles.

To recall, the adorable couple made their relationship public in 2020 as they appeared on the cover of Tatler Philippines magazine. They announced their engagement two years later.

Miss World 2025, the 72nd Miss World competition has officially begun in Telengana, India with the arrival of over 100 contestants vying for the highly coveted title. The beauties were checked into their official residence hotel, the Trident Hotel Hyderabad, and have been rehearsing for the opening ceremony this coming Saturday, May 10 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. Anne Baldridge was crowned Miss Maine USA 2024 in a glittering state competition held on March 10 at Boston Marriott Burlington in Burlington, Maine. The 25-year-old TV news reporter representing Casco Bay bested 11 other contestants to win the state title. She succeeds last year's winner Juliana Morehouse Locklear.
