Hannah Johns was crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2024 (Miss World Northern Ireland) in a national competition that was held last May 27 at Europa Hotel Belfast. The 24-year-old renal nurse and model from Belfast succeeds last year's winner Kaitlyn Jessica Clarke. She will represent Northern Ireland at the 72nd Miss World. Poppy Newell, a marketing apprentice from Kilkeel, was named first runner-up, while Lauren Walshe, a 23-year-old primary school teacher from Antrim, was announced as the second runner-up. The newly crowned Miss Northern Ireland takes immense pride in her achievements as a nurse, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hannah's journey in the field has ignited a strong passion for renal nursing, and she has actively contributed to renal services. As a result, she has been appointed as an ambassador for the Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund, where she tirelessly works to raise awareness and secure funding for vital research. "Wok
