California's Candy Cáceres was crowned Miss for America Strong 2023 on Friday, August 24 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Emmy-nominated journalist and bilingual weather anchor hailing from the Dominican Republic bested more than 40 other contestants to win the national competition for the most accomplished and single women of America. Jessica Wallace of Kentucky was named first runner-up while Jonét Nichelle of Rhode Island was announced as the second runner-up. Miss West Virginia, Chelsi Rose, was crowned Miss for America Strong 2022 on Thursday, August 18 at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Nevada. The runners-up were Chantelle Pressley of Kentucky and Kelly Breuer of New York. Last year's titleholder Dr. Rachel Fenters crowned her successor at the end of the event.
