Nathaly Andrea Terrones was crowned Miss Supranational Peru 2024 in a glittering national competition held on Tuesday, April 2 in Lima. The 28-year-old surgeon, volunteer firefighter, and soprano saxophonist from Lima will represent Peru at Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Camila Bernal of Lima Este and Kimberly Pérez Infante of Lima Centro were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Supranational Peru succeeds Valeria Flórez who placed in the Top 12 at Miss Supranational 2023 and was awarded the continental title of Miss Supranational Americas 2023. Tuesday's event also culminated with Joel Farach Marquina from Callao being proclaimed Mister Supranational Peru 2024. He will also head to Poland for Mister Supranational 2024 this summer. Joel Farach Marquina was named Mister International Peru 2023 last May and will soon represent his country in the upcoming Mister International 2023 pageant. The 33-year-old from Callao is a professional model and economist specializing in finance and evaluation of investment projects. Besides modeling, he holds a diploma in maritime, port, and fisheries management from Escuela Nacional de Marina Mercante (ENAMM). In addition, he is also a graduate of business finance from Cámara de Comercio de Lima (CCL) and a specialization course in financial modeling of investment projects from the Universidad del Pacífico. To recall, Joel is no stranger to pageantry as he has participated in the Men Universe Model 2014 competition held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where he finished in the Top 5. He now succeeds last year's titleholder Eleazar Moreno (Mister International 2022 Top 16 semifinalist) and will soon depart for the 15th Mister International whose final is set for September 17

Mister Supranational 2021 Varo Vargas from Peru has finally broken his silence on his intimate video that leaked online last week. After the video went viral, he shared an official statement through a video post on social media with the caption: "Taking responsibility is a powerful response to those who wish to see you fall. My trust might be damaged but my spirit stays strong. With my hand on my heart, thank you all for your empathy, kindness, and support."
