Mister Supranational 2021 Varo Vargas releases official statement after leaked intimate video went viral


Mister Supranational 2021 Varo Vargas from Peru has finally broken his silence on his intimate video that leaked online last week.

After the video went viral, he shared an official statement through a video post on social media with the caption: "Taking responsibility is a powerful response to those who wish to see you fall. My trust might be damaged but my spirit stays strong. With my hand on my heart, thank you all for your empathy, kindness, and support."

In his official statement, he took full responsibility for the video that he sent three years ago to a person he trusted with private and personal content. He also offered sincere apologies to the organizations he represents, to the people of Peru, and supporters from around the world.

Varo is a singer and model who hails from Lima. He was named Mister Supranational 2021 during the 5th edition of the international male pageant held in Nowy Sącz (Małopolska) Poland in August last year.

Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018. Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Karín Aridi of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Vanessa Pérez of Distrito Capital, Sarilé González of Miranda, and Vanessa Peroza of Nueva Esparta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Karla Bacigalupo was crowned Miss Peru 2025 (Miss Universe Peru 2025) in a national competition held last Sunday, June 15 in the historic city of Cusco. The 33-year-old actress and producer will now prepare to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2025 to be held in Thailand this November. Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively.
