Mister Supranational 2021 Varo Vargas releases official statement after leaked intimate video went viral


Mister Supranational 2021 Varo Vargas from Peru has finally broken his silence on his intimate video that leaked online last week.

After the video went viral, he shared an official statement through a video post on social media with the caption: "Taking responsibility is a powerful response to those who wish to see you fall. My trust might be damaged but my spirit stays strong. With my hand on my heart, thank you all for your empathy, kindness, and support."

In his official statement, he took full responsibility for the video that he sent three years ago to a person he trusted with private and personal content. He also offered sincere apologies to the organizations he represents, to the people of Peru, and supporters from around the world.

Varo is a singer and model who hails from Lima. He was named Mister Supranational 2021 during the 5th edition of the international male pageant held in Nowy Sącz (Małopolska) Poland in August last year.

Zashely Alicea Rivera, representing Dorado, was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025 on Thursday, August 14 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan. The 25-year-old psychology graduate, professional ballet dancer and model will represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Samarys Barbot Arroyo of Jayuya was named first runner-up while Isys Arimar Santos Crespo of  Vieques, Marisabel Rivera Negrón of Ponce and  Aneichka Maldonado Torres of Canóvanas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Nicole Peiliker-Visser was crowned Miss Universe Bonaire 2025 on Saturday, August 16 at Delfins Beach Resort in Kralendijk. Queensland's Lexie Brant was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Australia 2025 on Friday, August 15 at Crown Perth in Burswood, Western Australia. The 21-year-old model from Brisbane bested 29 other contestants to win the national competition. She will represent Australia at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Ivy Prempeh was named first runner-up while Cara Mooney, Bianca Black, and Ash Donner were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Choi Soon-hwa recently created a buzz in the pageant community when she appeared as the oldest contestant vying for Miss Universe Korea 2024. The 81-year-old senior model who walked her first runway in her 70s made history as she competes alongside more than 30 others in the upcoming national competition.
