Mister Supranational 2021 Varo Vargas releases official statement after leaked intimate video went viral


Mister Supranational 2021 Varo Vargas from Peru has finally broken his silence on his intimate video that leaked online last week.

After the video went viral, he shared an official statement through a video post on social media with the caption: "Taking responsibility is a powerful response to those who wish to see you fall. My trust might be damaged but my spirit stays strong. With my hand on my heart, thank you all for your empathy, kindness, and support."

In his official statement, he took full responsibility for the video that he sent three years ago to a person he trusted with private and personal content. He also offered sincere apologies to the organizations he represents, to the people of Peru, and supporters from around the world.

Varo is a singer and model who hails from Lima. He was named Mister Supranational 2021 during the 5th edition of the international male pageant held in Nowy Sącz (Małopolska) Poland in August last year.

The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. The 22-year-old model from Beijing will represent China at Miss Universe 2025 (74th Miss Universe) whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Korea will be represented at the 71st Miss Universe pageant by Hanna Kim. The 27-year-old model currently based in New York City was appointed as Miss Universe Korea 2022 last April. She was the first runner-up during last year's national competition. Apart from modeling, Hanna is a linguist and interpreter, who specialized in clinical trials. She is also a skilled classical ballet dancer. "Words cannot describe how honored I am to be representing Korea at the 71st edition of Miss Universe," she shared on social media.
