Kirk Bondad has returned home to the Philippines after winning the recently concluded Mister International 2025 competition in Thailand. Kirk's plane landed from Bangkok on Monday night at Terminal 3 of the NAIA international airport. He was warmly welcomed by the press and proceeded to his victory conference at the Holiday Inn Express Manila.  The 17th edition of the annual Mister International pageant was held on Thursday, September 25 and Kirk won the title against 41 other contestants. Kirk became the second Mister International from the Philippines. He was closely contested for the title by Lebanon's Saadedine Ghassan Heneine, who finished in second place. Kirk Bondad, representing the Philippines, was proclaimed the winner of Mister International 2025 on Thursday, September 25 in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old Filipino-German model and fitness trainer beat over 40 other contestants to win the prestigious international male pageant. Saadedine Ghassan Heneine of Lebanon was named first runner-up while Choi Seung Ho of Korea, Bethel Mbamara of Nigeria, Roberto Mena of Costa Rica, and Kanapol Treesongkiat of Thailand were the second, third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively. The Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2025 national final was held on Monday, April 28 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Seven deserving winners who will represent the Philippines at various international male pageants have been chosen among 26 contestants. Daumier Corilla of the Philippines was proclaimed Mister Global 2024 on Sunday, October 6 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. The 28-year-old model, actor, and host bested over 30 other contestants to become the first-ever Filipino winner of the international male pageant. Austin Cabatana, representing Quezon City, was proclaimed Mister International Philippines 2023 in a national competition held on Wednesday, June 28 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. The 24-year-old model and business management graduate of De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde bested over 50 other competitors from across the country to win the national title. Erik Lennart Visser of the Philippines won the Mr. Universe Tourism 2023 pageant on Sunday, March 19 at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre in Bali, Indonesia. The 24-year-old Filipino-Dutch model and psychology graduate of the Silliman University in Dumaguete City received the crown and sash from his predecessor Surasak "Tor" Muangkeaw of Thailand. A 25-year-old model and Century Tuna Superbods 2022 winner Kirk Bondad will represent the Philippines at the 11th Mr World pageant. The Filipino-German was officially announced as Mr World Philippines 2022 during the Miss World Philippines 2022 final competition held in June. Kirk is the brother of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray's ex-boyfriend, the model and actor Clint Bondad. He is also in a relationship right now with Filipino-Australian Kathleen Paton, the reigning Miss Eco International. Earlier this month, he announced teaming up with The CAMP for his training in preparation for the international pageant and hopefully bringing the first Mr World title to the Philippines. Parañaque City representative Myron Jude Ordillano was named Mister International Philippines 2022 at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila on Monday, June 27. The 23-year-old model and aspiring actor edged out over 30 other contestants to win his title. He succeeds the 2019 winner Levin Carl Arguelles. Mark Avendaño of Biñan, Laguna, Michael Ver Anton Comaling of Leyte Province, Kitt Cortez of San Juan City, and Andre John Cue of Cagayan de Oro City were the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Mister International Philippines is expected to represent his country in the next edition of the Mister International pageant this October, while the first and second runners-up will respectively compete in Mister Global and Mister National Universe.
