Philippines' Erik Lennart Visser wins Mr. Universe Tourism 2023


Erik Lennart Visser of the Philippines won the Mr. Universe Tourism 2023 pageant on Sunday, March 19 at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre in Bali, Indonesia.

The 24-year-old Filipino-Dutch model and psychology graduate of the Silliman University in Dumaguete City received the crown and sash from his predecessor Surasak "Tor" Muangkeaw of Thailand.

Spain's Francisco Jose Merida Moyano and Vietnam's Huynh Vo Hoang Son were announced as first and second runners-up, respectively.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Mr. Universe Tourism previously won the title Ginoong Pilipinas 2019 (Mister Philippines) and became a finalist at Century Tuna Superbods 2022.

This year's competition marked the 4th edition of the international male pageant which was held following a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Cemre Üker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. Aylin Molla, Melissa Öykü Yorulmaz, Candan Şeviktürk rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Miss World Organization has officially announced the remaining 25 contestants who were chosen by the judges to join the 15 fast track winners back in Puerto Rico this March. Reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel touched down in Guatemala City this week with her queen sisters Miss USA 2022 Morgan Romano and Miss Teen USA 2022 Faron Medhi. While the 6th edition of Miss Earth Venezuela will be held this December to select the representative for Miss Earth 2023, the national organization will appoint its delegate to this year's international pageant. After weeks of anticipation and a lot of speculation, Miss Earth Venezuela 2022 will finally be revealed in a special coronation ceremony that will air on Globovisión on Tuesday, October 4. The 28-year-old fashion model who hails from Pennsylvania holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication arts. She became the first woman from the United States to win the coveted title. Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico.
