Philippines' Erik Lennart Visser wins Mr. Universe Tourism 2023


Erik Lennart Visser of the Philippines won the Mr. Universe Tourism 2023 pageant on Sunday, March 19 at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre in Bali, Indonesia.

The 24-year-old Filipino-Dutch model and psychology graduate of the Silliman University in Dumaguete City received the crown and sash from his predecessor Surasak "Tor" Muangkeaw of Thailand.

Spain's Francisco Jose Merida Moyano and Vietnam's Huynh Vo Hoang Son were announced as first and second runners-up, respectively.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Mr. Universe Tourism previously won the title Ginoong Pilipinas 2019 (Mister Philippines) and became a finalist at Century Tuna Superbods 2022.

This year's competition marked the 4th edition of the international male pageant which was held following a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 is Lyshanda Moyas

Lyshanda Moyas, representing the city of Gweru, was proclaimed Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 on Saturday, May 17 at the Harare Hippodrome. The 26-year-old nurse and a finance and marketing consultant beat eight other finalists to win the national competition. Onesimo Nkomo of Nkayi and Rumbidzai Muzopa of Honde Valley were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Sakhile Dube crowned her successor at the end of the glittering event. She made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2024 last November in Mexico. 72nd Miss World contestants visit world’s largest film studio complex

The 72nd Miss World contestants had the amazing opportunity to experience the cinematic magic of Ramoji Film City, one of the most iconic theme parks in India. Spanning over 2,000 acres, the famous location is considered as the world’s largest film studio complex as recognized by the Guinness World Records. Over 100 stunning beauties vying to become the next Miss World were welcomed with a red carpet reception, featuring traditional Indian rituals such as aarti, tikka, and live music. Miss Universe Guatemala 2025 recently kicked off in Guatemala City with the official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for the crown. The national final will be held this July in Quetzaltenango where the reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark is expected to visit as a special guest. Last year's winner Ana Gabriela Villanueva will be crowning her successor who will represent Guatemala at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Estonia's Eliise Randmaa wins gold in sports challenge at Miss World 2025

Miss World Estonia Eliise Randmaa has been announced as the gold winner of the 72nd Miss World Sports Challenge. The fast-track event was held on Saturday, May 17 at the iconic Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad, India. Eliise has now secured a Top 10 placement in her continental region and in the Top 40 among 108 contestants vying for this year's title. Miss World Martinique Aurélie Joachim and Miss World Canada Emma Morrrison were awarded the silver and bronze medals, respectively. Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Anna-Lise Nanton placed fourth. Before the challenge, the contestants were divided into four regional teams — Americas & Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and Asia & Oceania. Jera Redant bested nine other contestants to be crowned Miss Exclusive 2025 (Miss Earth Belgium 2025) on Saturday, May 17 in Middelkerke. The 18-year-old student from Geraardsbergen was announced to represent Belgium at Miss Earth 2025, whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Elizabeth Victoria Raska who was proclaimed Miss Exclusive Air 2025 (Miss International Belgium 2025) will go to Miss International 2025 in Japan this November. The 72nd Miss World festival continues in Telangana, India with the official announcement of the continental winners of this year's head to head challenge. Advancing to the Top 10 in their continental regions were Idil Bilgen of Türkiye, Millie-Mae Adams of Wales, Faith Bwalya of Zambia, and Anna-Lise Nanton of Trinidad and Tobago. The four remarkable contestants impressed the distinguished panel of judges with their eloquence, passion, and the power behind their Beauty With a Purpose projects. Miss Indonesia Monica Kezia Sembiring was officially announced the winner of the talent competition at Miss World 2025. The talented pianist from North Sumatra beat 23 other finalists to win the fast-track event held at Shilpakala Vedika auditorium in Hyderabad, India. Issie Princesse of Cameroon and Chiara Esposito of Italy placed second and third, respectively. Monica's dazzling piano performance earned her a spot in the Top 10 of her continental group, Asia and Oceania. Kaya Chakrabortty bested over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Japan 2024 during the national competition held on Thursday, July 25 in Tokyo. The 22-year-old Japanese-Bangladeshi from Kobe City in Hyogo Prefecture will represent Japan at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. She succeeds last year's winner Rio Miyazaki. Naomi Kamidate, Yukie Yamaguchi, Honoka Shimamori, and Chika Mizuno were the Top 5 finalists. Krishan Pauline Alerre of the Philippines was crowned Miss Aura International 2025 on Friday, May 23 at the Rixos Sungate in Antalya, Turkey. The 23-year-old physical education graduate from Pampanga became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Alexandra Faith Garcia. Kira Andreea Stan of Romania was named first runner-up while Karin Bacilková of the Czech Republic, Ilin Nabsuk of Thailand, and Diami Almazbekova of Kyrgyztan were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
