Miss France 2023 is Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe

Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe was crowned Miss France 2023 on Saturday, December 17 at M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire. The 18-year-old beauty from Basse-Terre beat 29 other contestants representing various French regions and departments to become the fourth woman from Guadeloupe to win the national title. She received the new crown from her predecessor Diane Leyre of Île-de-France. Agathe Cauet of  Nord-Pas-de-Calais was named first runner-up while Marion Navarro of Franche-Comté, Axelle René of Martinique, and Alissia Ladevèze of Auvergne were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Prior to winning Miss France, the new queen won the title of Miss Basse-Terre and Miss Guadeloupe 2022. During the national competition, she received the maximum score from both the jury and the French public. Indira was awarded a number of prizes, including a multitude of gifts from sponsors, a year-long residence in a luxury Paris apartment, and an undisclosed monthly salary

Puerto Rico's Ashley Cariño shares national costume for 71st Miss Universe

Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2022 Ashley Cariño's national costume for the forthcoming 71st Miss Universe pageant has been officially revealed. The costume created by Puerto Rican musical artist and mechanical engineer DJ King Arthur features 42 pieces of biodegradable plastic designed and 3D printed. Inspired by the Arecibo Observatory Radio Telescope, it pays homage to important Puerto Rican names in the field of pageantry (former Miss Universe winners) and sports, the national flag, and coquí, an unofficial national symbol of Puerto Rico. Ashley will showcase this futuristic ensemble during the 71st Miss Universe national costume competition in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this coming January. Wisconsin's Grace Stanke crowned Miss America 2023

Miss Wisconsin Grace Stanke was crowned Miss America 2023 on Thursday, December 15 at the Mohegan Sun Earth Expo & Convention Center in Uncasville, Connecticut. The 20-year-old classical violinist and nuclear engineering student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison edged out 50 other competitiors to win her national title. She also bagged the Talent award during the peliminary competition. "I am so incredibly honored. I'm representing the women who can, we're not put in boxes, we're here to make a change and change the world so thank you so much, i am so honored," she emotionaly replied when asked how she feels about winning Miss America shortly after her coronation. Miss Universe to unveil new $6 million Mouawad crown in Bangkok

A brand new Miss Universe crown "Force for Good" is scheduled to be unveiled on Monday, December 19 at True Icon Hall (Icon Siam) in Bangkok, Thailand. The $6 million masterpiece by Mouawad will be the 12th crown of the Miss Universe pageant and the second crown from the world-renowned jeweler. Mis Eco Teen 2022 is Cherisha Chanda from India

India's Cherisha Chanda was crowned Miss Eco Teen 2022 on Sunday, December 11 at the Concorde Moreen Beach Resort & Spa in Marsa Alam, Egypt. The 17-year-old student who hails from Gurugram succeeded last year's titleholder from Vietnam, Bella Vu Huyen Dieu. She is the first Indian representative to win the beauty title. Francesca Beatriz McLelland was named the first princess while Mia Alvillar of the USA, Arianna Victoria of Spain, and Malak Badr of England were the first second, third and fourth princesses, respectively. This year's event was the fourth edition of the Egypt-based teen international pageant dedicated to environmental causes. The first two winners were Maria Eduarda Valotto of Brazil and Roberta Angela Tamondong of the Philippines. A total of 51 most talented young women from across America are vying for the coveted national title and over $500,000 in college scholarships. Miss America 2023: Meet the preliminary nights' special awardees

Fifty-one of the country's most intelligent, confident, talented, and community-minded young women are currently vying for the Miss America 2023 title in Uncasville, Connecticut. Prior to the final night competition that will be held this Thursday, December 15 at the Mohegan Sun, two preliminary nights were held and four contestants bagged special awards. The first preliminary night was held on Monday, December 12. Miss Indiana, Elizabeth Hallal, earned the Talent award, and Miss Georgia, Kelsey Hollis, earned the Social Impact Pitch award. On the second preliminary night which was held on Tuesday, December 13, Miss Wisconsin, Grace Stanke, earned the Talent award, and Miss Iowa, Bailey Hodson, earned the Social Impact Pitch award. The Talent awardees each received a $2500 worth of scholarship provided by Kawai Pianos while the Social Impact Pitch awardees each received a £1500 worth of scholarship provided by Regalia Magnificent Apparel. Miss International 2022 is Jasmin Selberg of Germany

Germany's Jasmin Selberg was crowned Miss International 2022 from a field of 66 contestants in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, December 13 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The 23-year-old university student in history and philosophy received the new crown by Long Beach Pearl from Sireethorn Leearamwat, the longest-reigning Miss International from Thailand. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were the first runner-up from Cabo Verde, Stephany Amado; second runner-up from Peru, Tatiana Calmell; third runner-up from Colombia, Natalia López Cardona; and fourth runner-up from the Dominican Republic, Celinee Santos. The representatives from Canada, Jamaica, and Spain finished in the Top 8 while Costa Rica, Finland, France, New Zealand, Northern Marianas, Philippines, and the United Kingdom were the rest of the Top 15 semi-finalists.
