Miss Universe Portugal 2023 is Marina Machete

Miss Palmela, Marina Machete was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2023 on Thursday, October 5 in Borba, District of Évora. The 28-year-old beauty bested 16 other finalists to win the glittering competition. Aside from the crown, she also bagged the Miss Beautifully Confident award. Her victory was historic as she became the first-ever transgender woman to become Miss Universe Portugal. Diana Lopes of Guimarães and Elisabete Abreu of Câmara de Lobos were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Rounding out the Top 8 were the representatives of Lisboa, Andresa Neves, Odivelas, Sabrina Gladio, Sesimbra, Sandra Gonçalves, Setúbal, Bárbara Gavaia, and Sintra, Tatiana Pais. The new Miss Universe Portugal succeeds last year's titleholder Telma Madeira who achieved a Top 16 placement at the 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans earlier this year. Miss Portuguesa 2023 is Yeniffer Campos

Yeniffer Campos was crowned Miss Portuguesa 2023 in a glittering national competition on Saturday, September 16 at Cine-Teatro Messias in Mealhada. The 33-year-old personal trainer and Zumba instructor from Oeiras bested 11 other finalists to win the national title. Sophia Lodmell, 21, from New York, and Ana Luísa Silva, 16, from Lisbon, were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. This year's competition marked the 12th edition of the Miss Portuguesa pageant. Miss Intercontinental Portugal 2022 is Nadiuska Gutierrez

Miss Vale do Tejo 2021 Nadiuska Gutierrez will represent Portugal at the 50th Miss Intercontinental pageant in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt this October. The 26-year-old technical support, esthetician, and content creator represented the Portuguese region of Vale do Tejo at Miss Queen Portugal 2021 where she placed in the Top 10 and bagged the Miss Popular award. Originally from Venezuela, Miss Intercontinental Portugal 2022 is passionate about dancing and acting, and enjoys photography, traveling, and learning about new places and cultures. Nadiuska believes in dreams and that with faith, focus and effort, anything can be achieved. She said: "We always have to dream because nothing could be accomplished without having first believed in dreams. We are who we want to be." The Miss Globe Portugal 2022 is Diana Freitas

Miss Vila Real 2021 Diana Freitas has officially been announced on Wednesday, September 21 as The Miss Globe Portugal 2022. The 23-year-old fashion model and nurse from Vila Real will represent her country at The Miss Globe 2022 pageant in Albania this October. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Sara Almeida. Diana is no stranger to pageantry. After winning Miss Vila Real, she went on to represent her city in Miss Queen Portugal 2021 where she placed in the Top 10 and bagged the Miss Sympathy award. Telma Madeira was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2022 during a special crowning ceremony on the "Conversa de Mulheres" TV program in Lisbon on Wednesday, July 6. The 22-year-old beauty who hails from Póvoa de Varzim is a model and former Miss Queen Portugal. She was named Miss Earth Portugal and went on to compete in Miss Earth 2018 in the Philippines where she placed in the Top 8. CNB Portugal, which is under the direction of Letícia Silva, now holds the Miss Universe national franchise in Portugal. Taking into account this year's Miss Universe schedule, as well as the annual national pageant, which has already been set, it was not possible for the organizers to hold a competition to select Miss Universe Portugal 2022. The newly appointed Miss Universe Portugal succeeded last year's titleholder Orícia Dos Santos and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022 whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Miss Earth Portugal 2022 is Maria Rosado

Miss Ribatejo, Maria Rosado, was crowned Miss Queen Portugal 2021 (Miss Earth Portugal 2022) in a national competition that took place between April 7 and 10 in Castro Daire, Viseu. The 21-year-old beauty from Ourém succeeds Miss Queen Portugal 2020 Gabriella Rodriguez and will now prepare to represent her country at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant later this year. Miss Viana do Castelo, Soraia Barbosa, Miss Braga, Inês Fernandes, and Miss Porto, Esmeralda Moreira, were the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. The 10th year anniversary of the Miss Queen Portugal pageant was participated by 45 finalists from all the districts of mainland Portugal, Azores, Madeira, and the Portuguese Community of France. Miss Teen Leiria, Raquel Libório, and Mrs Viseu, Cristiana Giroto, were named  Miss Teen Portugal 2021 and Mrs Portugal 2021, respectively. Portugal has yet to win the Miss Earth crown. Miss Earth Portugal 2021 is the newly crowned Miss Queen Portugal Gabriella Rodriguez

Venezuelan-born beauty Gabriella Rodriguez was crowned Miss Queen Portugal 2020 in a national competition held on Tuesday, June 15 in Braga. The 22-year-old model and factory production assistant who represented the district of Viana do Castelo bested 13 other finalists to succeed last year's titleholder Ivanna Rohashko. Gabriella now holds the title of Miss Earth Portugal 2021 and will represent the southern European country at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced.
