Miss Universe Portugal 2022 is Telma Madeira


Telma Madeira was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2022 during a special crowning ceremony on the "Conversa de Mulheres" TV program in Lisbon on Wednesday, July 6.

The 22-year-old beauty who hails from Póvoa de Varzim is a model and former Miss Queen Portugal. She was named Miss Earth Portugal and went on to compete in Miss Earth 2018 in the Philippines where she placed in the Top 8.

CNB Portugal, which is under the direction of Letícia Silva, now holds the Miss Universe national franchise in Portugal.

Taking into account this year's Miss Universe schedule, as well as the annual national pageant, which has already been set, it was not possible for the organizers to hold a competition to select Miss Universe Portugal 2022.

The newly appointed Miss Universe Portugal succeeded last year's titleholder Orícia Dos Santos and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022 whose date and venue have yet to be announced.

Opal Suchata Chuangsri was officially proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025 in a special press presentation held on Tuesday, April 22 in Bangkok. The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. No stranger to pageantry, Opal was previously crowned Miss Universe Thailand and went to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico where she finished as the third runner-up. Miss Universe Zambia 2025 is Kunda Mwamulima

Kunda Mwamulima was crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2025 on Saturday, April 20 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Lusaka. The 29-year-old registered nurse and model will now prepare to represent Zambia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Kunda is a former Miss Earth Zambia titleholder who competed in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. The 22-year-old professional model, singer, theater actress and fashion designer will head to Thailand to compete in the 74th Miss Universe pageant this November.
