Miss Universe Portugal 2022 is Telma Madeira


Telma Madeira was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2022 during a special crowning ceremony on the "Conversa de Mulheres" TV program in Lisbon on Wednesday, July 6.

The 22-year-old beauty who hails from Póvoa de Varzim is a model and former Miss Queen Portugal. She was named Miss Earth Portugal and went on to compete in Miss Earth 2018 in the Philippines where she placed in the Top 8.

CNB Portugal, which is under the direction of Letícia Silva, now holds the Miss Universe national franchise in Portugal.

Taking into account this year's Miss Universe schedule, as well as the annual national pageant, which has already been set, it was not possible for the organizers to hold a competition to select Miss Universe Portugal 2022.

The newly appointed Miss Universe Portugal succeeded last year's titleholder Orícia Dos Santos and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022 whose date and venue have yet to be announced.

Miss USA 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. Miss Universe Haiti 2025 is Melissa Queenie Sapini

Melissa Queenie Sapini was officially crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2025 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, October 18 at The Palm Theater (Embassy Suites) in Boca Raton, Florida. The 22-year-old Haitian-American TV host will now prepare to represent Haiti at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe Haiti is a former Miss Massachusetts USA. She competed in Miss USA 2024 in Los Angeles, California and made the Top 10. Zashely Alicea Rivera, representing Dorado, was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025 on Thursday, August 14 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan. The 25-year-old psychology graduate, professional ballet dancer and model will represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.
