Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025 is Zashely Alicea Rivera

Zashely Alicea Rivera, representing Dorado, was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025 on Thursday, August 14 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan. The 25-year-old psychology graduate, professional ballet dancer and model will represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Samarys Barbot Arroyo of Jayuya was named first runner-up while Isys Arimar Santos Crespo of  Vieques, Marisabel Rivera Negrón of Ponce and  Aneichka Maldonado Torres of Canóvanas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Universe Puerto Rico succeeded last year's winner  Jennifer Colón Alvarado who made the Top 12 at Miss Universe 2024 last November in Mexico. Who will be crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025?

A total of 23 stunning women are currently vying for the highly coveted title and crown of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2025. The preliminary competition took place on Sunday, August 10 at Teatro Tapia. After showcasing their swuimsuit and evening gown performances, contestants from Dorado, Vieques, Ponce, Carolina, Jayuya, and Morovis bagged the special awards. Hosted by José Santana and Diane Ferrer, the much awaited final gala will be held this Thursday, August 14 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan. The show will broadcast on Wapa Televisión, Wapa América, Wapa+, and wapa.tv/envivo. Former titleholder Karla Guilfú Acevedo and former Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera will be among the distinguished panel of judges who will choose the next queen. Puerto Rico's Ivana Carolina Irizarry crowned Universal Woman 2025

Ivana Carolina Irizarry, representing Puerto Rico, was crowned Universal Woman 2025 on Saturday, August 10 in Jaipur, India. The 30-year-old model, presenter and businesswoman made history as the first Puerto Rican woman to clinch the international title. She succeeds last year's winner Maria Gigante of the Philippines. Iris Miguélez of Spain was named first runner-up while Ismelys Velásquez of Venezuela, Katty López España of Ecuador, and Roci Pankov of Brazil were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Universal Woman is no stranger to pageantry. She took part in Miss International 2019, finishing in the Top 15, and also competed in Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024, where she reached the Top 5. Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2025 is Valeria Meléndez of Caguas

Miss Earth Caguas Valeria Meléndez was proclaimed Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, February 1 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas. The 25-year-old fashion designer edged out 17 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Earth 2025 pageant. Valeria was crowned by her predecessor Bianca Caraballo who made the Top 8 at Miss Earth 2024 last November in the Philippines. "I still can't find the words to describe what I feel right now. It has been a path of much effort, sacrifices, and growth, but every step has been worth it," she shared online. "This crown is not just mine, it belongs to everyone who has been part of this dream. Puerto Rico's María Cepero crowned Miss Intercontinental 2024

María Cepero Jiménez of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2024 on Friday, December 6 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The 26-year-old law student beat over 50 other contestants to win her country's 5th Miss Intercontinental title. She succeeds last year's winner Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat from Thailand. Georgette Musrie of Venezuela was named first runner-up while Alyssa Redondo of the Philippines finished as the second runners-up. Bui Khanh Linh of Vietnam, Celina Weil of Germany, Kenyatta Beazer of the USA, and Amanda Peresu of Zimbabwe were the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 22 were the representatives of Belgium, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Japan, Kenya, Moldova, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Wales, and Zambia. Daniel Mejía from Puerto Rico was proclaimed the winner of the Mr World 2024 competition on Saturday, November 23 in Phan Thiet, Vietnam. The 28-year-old talented singer became the first Puerto Rican to win the international title. He holds a degree in health sciences and works as a mortgage loan originator. Pham Tuan Nhoc of Vietnam, Antonio Company of Spain, and Felipe Salvador Maria of Angola were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Tomas Haring of the Czech Republic, Gokul Ganesan of India, Teddy Rossiter of Kenya, Megha Sooriyaarachchi of Sri Lanka, Ege Karabenli of Turkey, and Juan Alberto García of Venezuela were the Top 10 finalists. Mr World 2024: Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía wins Sports Challenge

Puerto Rico's Daniel Mejía was declared the overall winner of the Mr World 2024 Sports Challenge following the combined results of swimming and running events. The swimming round was held on November 14, while the running round took place on Sunday in conjunction with the Strong Vietnam Marathon in Vung Tau City. Kirk Bondad of the Philipines came second while Bruno Barbieri of Italy, Manu Turner of England, and Vincent Gobuamang of Botswana were third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 is Jennifer Colón Alvarado of Orocovis

Jennifer Colón Alvarado, representing Orocovis, was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 during the national competition on Thursday, June 27 at the Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré in San Juan. The 36-year-old mother of three, a medical grade esthetician and iridologist will now represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2024 (73rd Miss Universe) in Mexico this November. Orlanis Rivera of Corozal was named first runner-up. At the same time, Carolina Gómez of Salinas, Ivana Carolina Irizarry of Lares, and Stephanie Soto of Toa Alta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The preliminary competition of the highly anticipated Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 pageant took place on Sunday, June 23 in San Juan. Hosted by Nicole Chacón, the show featured 28 contestants strutting the runway in their cocktail dresses by Corte Frances, swimsuits designed by Lorel Aurora (Mare Cheia), and glittering evening gowns. The official contestants vying for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 were finally revealed on Thursday, April 18 at the mayor's office in San Juan. This year's competition will have 28 of the island's most beautiful women selected to compete for the coveted national title. One of them will be the successor of Karla Guilfú Acevedo, reigning Miss Universe Puerto Rico and Miss Universe 2023 Top 5 finalists. Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2024 is Valeria Pérez from Manatí

Valeria Pérez was crowned Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2024 (Miss World Puerto Rico 2024) on Saturday, April 6 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Humacao. The 22-year-old biology graduate hailing from Manatí bested 29 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds  Miss World Puerto Rico 2022 who placed in the Top 40 at the 71st Miss World , Elena Rivera. María Cepero of Aibonito and Mara Meléndez of Isabela were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Giselle Jiménez Osorio of Bayamón and Ninoshka Figueroa of Ciales rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
