Puteri Indonesia 2024 is Harashta Haifa Zahra of West Java

Harashta Haifa Zahra, representing Jawa Barat, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2024 last Friday, March 8 at the  Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center. The 20-year-old environmental engineering student bested more than 40 other contestants to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner  Farhana Nariswari. Rounding out the Top 4 finalists, Sophie Kirana Indriyagi, Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, and Melati Tedja were respectively crowned Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan 2024. The winners are now expected to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2024 in Japan, Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland, Miss Charm 2024 in Vietnam, and Miss Cosmo 2024, also in Vietnam. Farhana Nariswari Wisandana, who represented Jawa Barat, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2023 (Miss International Indonesia 2023) on Friday, May 19 at Jakarta Convention Center. The 26-year-old beauty from Bandung will now represent Indonesia at Miss International 2023 in Tokyo. She is the first winner who will not compete in Miss Universe since Puteri Indonesia lost the franchise for Miss Universe Indonesia. Yasinta Aurellia of Jawa Timur was named Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2023 (Miss Supranational Indonesia 2023) and will go to Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland. Clinching the title Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2023 (Miss Charm Indonesia 2024) was Lulu Zaharani Krisna Widodo of Lampung and she will proceed to Miss Charm 2024 in Vietnam. The much-awaited 26th Puteri Indonesia edition will be held this Friday, May 19 at the Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center. A total of 45 contestants from 34 Indonesian provinces are vying for the crowns at stake and the opportunity to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2023, Miss Supranational 2023, and  Miss Charm 2024. Reigning Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane of South Africa arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia 2023 on Wednesday, May 17 to grace the Puteri Indonesia 2023 pageant. The South African beauty reunited upon her arrival at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Terminal 3 with her supra sister Adinda Cresheilla, reigning Miss Supranational Indonesia and Miss Supranational 2022 third runner-up. Puteri Indonesia speaks out on losing Miss Universe license

Yayasan Puteri Indonesia was surprised, Miss Universe's license was taken by another organization The Yayasan Puteri Indonesia (YPI) the organization behind the annual Puteri Indonesia pageant revealed in an official press release they were shocked by the news that the Miss Universe Indonesia license has been taken over by PT Capella Swastika Karya. According to the Head of Communication for the Puteri Indonesia Foundation, Mega Angkasa, he was surprised by the statement from another organization claiming they have the license at a press conference on Wednesday, February 8 in Jakarta. "The Puteri Indonesia Foundation was surprised because at that time we were still waiting for confirmation from MUO's Director for Global Franchise, Carlos Capetillo, regarding the continuation of the license like the previous year," he said. Miss Universe franchise no longer with Puteri Indonesia

The Miss Universe pageant has entered a new era in Indonesia as its national franchise now belongs to a new company. Previously held by Puteri Indonesia for almost two decades, the Miss Universe Indonesia franchise is now under Jakarta-based PT Capella Swastika Karya. Indonesian singer and actress Poppy Capella will serve as its chairwoman with AVUE Chief Executive Officer Eldwen Wang as the national director. They are joined by Safa Attamimi as the chief operating officer and fashion stylist Niel Dimitrij as project director, among others. This surprising turn of events is just one of the many changes in the Miss Universe Organization since ownership went to Thai media mogul Anne Jakrajutatip late last year and expect more surprises to come. Puteri Indonesia 2020 (Miss Universe Indonesia) Ayu Maulida has left for the USA on Tuesday, April 27 to compete in the upcoming 69th Miss Universe pageant in Hollywood, Florida. Ayu was wearing a classy form-fitting short sleeve pencil dress by Victoria Beckham during her send-off at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. The 23-year-old was supported by her national organization, pageant-lover fans, and especially her sister queens Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2020 (Miss International Indonesia) Ayu Saraswati and Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2020 (Miss Supranational Indonesia) Jihane Almira at the airport. The Puteri Indonesia organization has announced on its digital platforms that the registration for this year's competition (Puteri Indonesia 2021) is now officially open. If you have what it takes to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Supranational, visit the Puteri Indonesia official website www.puteri-indonesia.com to register. Puteri Indonesia has been held since 1992 by the Yayasan Puteri Indonesia (Indonesian Princess Foundation), chaired by Mooryati Soedibyo and sponsored by the cosmetics company Mustika Ratu.
