FAVORITES: Final Top 7 favorites for Miss World 2021

After more than two years of waiting, a new queen will finally succeed the longest-reigning Miss World from Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh. Who will be crowned the 70th Miss World? The Top 40 semi-finalists will be vying for the coveted title during tonight's final competition that will stream live at 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST from the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Predicting who will win the pageant is quite a challenge but taking into account Miss World's criteria for judging, we came up with our list of favorites based on the contestants' performances during the pre-pageant events. Miss World 2021: Official Top 40 contestants announced

Miss World Organization has officially announced the remaining 25 contestants who were chosen by the judges to join the 15 fast track winners back in Puerto Rico this March. They will arrive in the host country on March 12 while the rest of the 97 contestants will only be featured in the broadcast of the 70th Miss World final, which will air live on March 16 at 8 p.m. ET (local time) from the Coliseo De Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan. Miss World 2021 temporarily postpones final show in Puerto Rico

Miss World 2021 temporarily postpones global broadcast finale in Puerto Rico due to health and safety interests of contestants, staff, crew, and general public. The finale will be rescheduled at Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot within the next 90 days. SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - After meeting with the virologists and medical experts hired to oversee the Miss World 2021 event and discussing with the Puerto Rico Health Department, the decision has been made by the organizers of the event to postpone the globally broadcast finale at the Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot to be held within the next 90 days. As of yesterday, additional safety measures were implemented in the best interest of the contestants, production team, and spectators, understanding the event increased risks on the stage and in the dressing room. Miss World 2021: Several contestants test positive for COVID-19

Several Miss World 2021 contestants have tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be permitted to appear on stage this Thursday at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While none of those who tested positive required hospitalization, they have to follow a mandatory 10-day isolation period according to the spokesperson of Puerto Rico's health department. Julia Morley, CEO of the Miss World Organization, also said they are following national guidelines and if the contestants don't produce a negative molecular PCR test, they won't be on stage for the final show. Miss World 2021: Beauty With A Purpose Top 10 announced

The Top 10 finalists of the Miss World 2021 Beauty With A Purpose have been officially announced on Monday, December 13. Beauty With A Purpose is an event established in the 70s that is celebrated during the activities prior to the Miss World pageant. It awards the contestant with the most relevant and important charity project in her nation. Since 2005 the winner automatically advances to the quarter-finals.
