Sofía Osío Luna to represent Colombia at Miss International 2023

Señorita Atlántico and Señorita Colombia 2022, Sofía Osío Luna, has been officially announced as Miss International Colombia 2023. The 22-year-old beauty from Barranquilla will represent her country at Miss International 2023 in Japan later this year. She became the first Señorita Colombia winner to compete in Miss International since the 1960s. Colombia has won Miss International three times with María Stella Márquez Zawadsky (1960), Paulina Margarita Gálvez Pineda (1999, and Jeymmy Paola Vargas Gómez (2004). Last year's representative Natalia López Cardona placed third runner-up among 66 contestants at the 60th Miss International edition held at Tokyo Dome City Hall. The new Miss International Colombia is a graduate of fashion marketing and communication from the European Institute of Design in Barcelona. Miss Supranational Colombia 2023 is Valentina Mora

Señorita Antioquia and Virreina Nacional Colombia, Valentina Mora Trujillo, was officially announced as Miss Supranational Colombia 2023. The 25-year-old social communicator from Medellín will represent Colombia at the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland, possibly this July. Valentina represented Antioquia at Señorita Colombia 2022 last November in Cartagena where she placed second to Sofía Osío Luna of Atlántico and was named Virreina Colombia. She also bagged the Miss Smart Fit award. Colombia has yet to win Miss Supranational. The country's highest placement was first runner-up in 2017 with Martha Luz 'Tica' Martínez Insignares. Last year, Valentina Espinosa finished in the Top 12 among 69 competitors. Señorita Colombia 2022 is Sofía Osío Luna of Atlántico

Miss Atlántico, Sofía Osío Luna, was crowned Señorita Colombia 2022 - 2023 (Miss Colombia) on Sunday, November 13 at the Centro de Convenciones Cartagena de Indias in Cartagena, Bolívar. The 22-year-old graduate of fashion marketing and communication from Barranquilla beat 28 other contestants to win the "Concurso Nacional de Belleza" and wear the new crown by Caribbean Jewelry. She succeeds last year's winner Valentina Espinosa of Bolivar and is now expected to represent Colombia at Miss International 2023 in Japan. Valentina Mora Trujillo of Antioquia, a 24-year-old social communicator, was named Virreina Nacional and will possibly go to Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland. Virreina Nacional de Belleza Natalia Lopez Cardona has been officially announced as Miss International Colombia 2022. The 23-year-old model and law student from Quindío placed second during last year's Señorita Colombia competition in Cartagena. "Today my heart beats with happiness, from today I not only represent my coffee land but also the country that has given me so much," she shared on her social media account. Señorita Colombia 2021 is Valentina Espinosa of Bolívar

Valentina Espinosa, the representative of the Bolívar department, was chosen as the new Señorita Colombia 2021 (Miss Colombia 2021) in a ceremony full of color, music, and a lot of Colombian talent on Sunday, November 14 at the Auditorio Getsemaní del Centro de Convenciones Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala in Cartagena. The 23-year-old social communication and journalism professional triumphed over 24 other beauties to win her national title. She succeeds María Fernanda Aristizábal Urrea and is expected to represent her country at the next Miss Supranational edition in Poland.
