Señorita Colombia 2022 is Sofía Osío Luna of Atlántico


Miss Atlántico, Sofía Osío Luna, was crowned Señorita Colombia 2022 - 2023 (Miss Colombia) on Sunday, November 13 at the Centro de Convenciones Cartagena de Indias in Cartagena, Bolívar.

The 22-year-old graduate of fashion marketing and communication from Barranquilla beat 28 other contestants to win the "Concurso Nacional de Belleza" and wear the new crown by Caribbean Jewelry. She succeeds last year's winner Valentina Espinosa of Bolivar and is now expected to represent Colombia at Miss International 2023 in Japan.

Valentina Mora Trujillo of Antioquia, a 24-year-old social communicator, was named Virreina Nacional and will possibly go to Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland.

The representatives of Norte de Santander, Andrea Katherinne Yañez Garcia; Valle, Juanita Urrea Posada; and Tolima, Laura Juliana León Ramírez were respectively announced as the first, second, and third princesses.

Brigith Navarro Lugo of Región Caribe, María Camila Sinning Martínez of Cartagena, Luisa Sanmiguel of Cesar, Sonia Marcela Cuesta Morales of Chocó, and Vanessa Velázquez Valencia of Risaralda were the rest of the Top 10 semi-finalists.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 12 were the representatives of  Barinas, Anabelly Ojeda, Bolívar, Yosdanny Navarro, Delta Amacuro, Kelly Maita, Dependencias Federales, Valentina Martínez, Portuguesa, Génesis Mendoza, Sucre, Rosangel Mundaraín, and Táchira, Valeria del Amor. Miss World Estonia 2022 is Adriana Mass from Pärnu

Miss World Estonia 2022 final gala event took place on Sunday, August 14 at the Hilton Park Hotel in Tallinn. The winner, Adriana Mass, is a 21-year-old violinist and student from Pärnu. She studied violin at the Tallinn Music School and currently pursuing social work and rehabilitation management at the University of Tartu. Also crowned in the event were Miss Intercontinental Estonia 2022 Annika Vendla, Miss Eco Estonia 2023 Carmen Marjette, Top Model of the World Estonia 2023 Eliise Randmaa, and Teen Face of Beauty Estonia 2022 Valeria Semenjuk. 70th Miss Universe contestants tour Jerusalem old city in Israel

Despite imposing travel restrictions due to the Omicron coronavirus variant, Israel's hosting of the 70th Miss Universe pageant is pushing through. The contestants were taken to a tour of Jerusalem's old city on Tuesday, November 30 in their sneakers, pantsuits, and cocktail dresses. They visited some notable landmarks in the city such as the Tower of David Museum and Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Their final itinerary of the day was a tea party at King David Hotel where they met with important persons such as Mayor Moshe Lion, local female politicians, and heads of organizations that fight poverty and violence against women. Over 70 beauties are expected to continue their journey to the Miss Universe crown in Eilat next week where they will go through a series of pre-pageant activities and preliminary competitions prior to the final on December 12. The long wait is almost over as the Miss USA 2022 pageant will be held this Monday, October 3 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada where the next US representative to Miss Universe will be selected. The final group of national finalists for Miss Universe Australia 2024 was revealed during the South Australia state final on Monday, April 8 at Feathers Hotel in Burnside. Three beauties have been selected to represent South Australia at the national competition in August. They are Courtney Spear, Olivija Spanovskis, and Belinda Lesi. Miss Suriname 2025 is Chiara Wijntuin

Chiara Wijntuin was crowned Miss Suriname 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, November 2 at the Assuria Event Center in Paramaribo. The 21-year-old student bested 14 other contestants to win the title and she is now expected to represent Suriname at Miss Universe 2025. Kyran Rampersad and Kimberly Kersting were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Suriname has officially returned to the Miss Universe pageant this year with Pooja Chotkan who was appointed Miss Universe Suriname 2024 in August.
