Sri Lanka will be represented at Miss International 2023 by the recently appointed Miss Sri Lanka International 2023 Umanda Bamunuachchi. The 21-year-old professional dancer and student living in Paris was second runner-up at Miss Sri Lanka in France, a beauty pageant among the Sri Lankan community. She also bagged the Best Catwalk and Miss Congeniality award. As Miss International Sri Lanka, Umanda is advocating for pediatric cancer patients. She shared, "I am honored to be the titleholder of such a respected legacy and to continue this worthy charity cause with my best effort and dedication."
