Universal Woman 2024 is Maria Gigante of the Philippines

Maria Gigante, representing the Philippines, was crowned Universal Woman 2024 in a glittering competition held on Friday, March 22 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The 30-year-old host, model, and entrepreneur hailing from Cebu, Philippines, edged out over 40 other contestants to win the international title. Lisandra Chirinos of Venezuela was named first runner-up while Elisa Mysyshyne of France, Brianna Mai of Cambodia, and Tavera Pena Chabelli of the Dominican Republic were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. This year's competition marked the second edition of the Universal Woman pageant. Valentina Sanchez Trivella, the first winner from Venezuela, crowned her successor at the end of the event. Maria Gigante has been officially appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2024 and will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Universal Woman 2024 competition. The 30-year-old host, model, and entrepreneur from Cebu will be the first-ever Filipina representative in the international competition. No stranger to pageantry, Maria was a contestant at Binibining Pilipinas 2016. She also participated in Miss World Philippines 2022 where she placed in the Top 11 and bagged the Non-Fungible Beauty Award and Best in Creative Editorial and Fashion Photo. Universal Woman 2023 is Valentina Sanchez Trivella of Venezuela

Universal WomanVenezuela Valentina Sanchez Trivella was crowned Universal Woman 2023 on Thursday, February 2 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The 27-year-old television host and former Miss Supranational Venezuela bested over 20 other competitors to win the first edition of the international pageant. Karibel Perez of the Dominican Republic was named first runner-up while Jéssica Lírio of Brazil and Kaddy Samateh of Gambia were second and third runners-up, respectively. Davin Prasath of Cambodia rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The representatives from Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and Thailand were the rest of the Top 10 semifinalists.
